Rebecca's POV.

It was the masquerade ball day and I still hadn't prepared myself because I didn't want to go, but part of me really wanted to.

I was in total confuse. I had no dress or mask or whatsoever so it's obvious that I wouldn't go.

I was still staying at Clarence's, and I felt really bad because I might bothering her. But she kept assure me that she was so glad that I was staying at her place.

It was five in the evening and the ball will be in two hours. I helped Clarence with her make up and hair and I wouldn't lie, she looked so perfect!

"Oh my godness you look stunning I swear" I said to her in amazement.

"Thank you so much, Becca. It won't happen if it's not you who helps me" she replied and showed me her beautiful smile.

She was in that purple dress she bought few days ago before the ball day and the last, she wore her beautiful mask and she was totally ready to go.

Part of me still wanted to go, hoping that Nash would come. But logically, he won't make it because he's not a type of guy who likes ball and stuff and besides, he was in California with Hayes.

"Hey what's going on?" Clarence asked once she noticed I was blankly looking at nothing.

"Um no, just, uh nothing" I lied.

"Come on tell me what's wrong, Bex" she begged.

"Nothing seriously," I assured her but I know she still didn't believe.

"Okay," she let out a sigh, "But you should tell me if something's wrong okay?"

"Of course, will do" I tried my best to fake my smile and hide my confuseness.

"Goshh I can't wait for Aaron to take me" Clarence groaned and I giggled.

"Awe lovebirds" I responded, and we both laughed.

Then we heard a voice of horn and we both know that it was Aaron.

"I'll see you later, Bex" Clarence smiled at me, "I wish you came too"

I pulled her into a hug, "Have fun there babe"

She just nodded and walked away from the house. She was entering Aaron's car with him opening the car door. What a gentleman!

I closed the door from the inside of the house and leaned on the door. I shut my eyes and breathe. Just breathe. And thinking.

Seriously should I miss this event?

I was totally confused. It was almost six and the party will be on an hour.

I let out a sigh and finally asked myself, "What should I do now?"

I walked back to my room and laid myself on the bed. I ran my hands through my hair and I was totally confused.

Thirty minutes before the ball started and I was still confused. I didn't know should I go to the ball or not.

Jeez what should I do now?

"UGHH I DECIDED TO GO" I finally screamed to myself, remembering that part of me still wanted to go.

I quickly grabbed Clarence's car and pulled away to the mall to bought myself a dress and a mask for the ball.

I ran to a random shop and quickly looked for a nice dress for me. I was so complicated.

"Excuse me, miss, can I help you?" the girl I assumed was the shop employee asked me.

"Uh yeah actually I'm looking for a ball dress, do you have it here?" I politely said.
