"When?" he said through gritted teeth.

"Last time I saw you." she said, "When I got out of that café I.. I was hit by a car and had brain damage. It didn't take long just because I was lucky enough."

"I don't know what to say..."

"There's nothing to say, Matty. I'm going back to England tonight, I only called to say goodbye. Say goodbye for George for me, will you?" even though she and George were not even that close.

"Sure" his voice was low and he was looking at his shoes,

"Okay, then. I'm gonna get a cab back home." she exclaimed

"I could drive you" he offered desperately, "No, it's fine." she declined.

He watched her as she walked away from him step by step until he couldn't really see her, he only saw void and emptiness, which was how life was with her gone. He got back in the car.

First thing she did was pack her bags, then she went to stand on Zeke's door, she contemplates whether or not she would knock, and at last, she did.

When he opened the door he was only wearing pants, it seemed like he was getting ready.

"Leila" he said in surprise,  "Wow it's been a while eh"

"Yeah, sorry about that. I had an accident but I'm fine now, and I came to say goodbye." it was much easier saying all these things to Zeke than it was to Matty. She didn't know why, though.

"B-but where are y-you going?" he asked stuttering,

"Back to England." she explained, he nodded and pull her in for a hug. He rested his chin on her shoulder as he thought of how much he'd miss seeing her face. She let go, and he kissed her forehead, and nodded again. "I'll leave now. Goodbye."

"Goodbye, leila." then she walked out the door to her room once again, she took her bags and got inside of the elevator. At the reception desk she left the keys of her room, 102. And payed the bill.

Then she took a cab and got to the airport where she took one last look at Seatle.

She had a seat next to the window, and she watched the clouds all the way until she went to sleep, to be awoken after god knows how long to be informed that the plane has landed, and it's time for all passengers to get off. She rubbed her eyes, taking in the information. Then she stood up to leave.

Later on when she got back to her apartment, she called Dan, and planned hanging out tomorrow, so he'd be filled in with everything that happened since he was obviously worried sick. She put off the phone and layed as she fell into deep sleep on her cosy, comfortable bed.
