Later that day.
"Hoseok-hyung, look at this! This is really pissing me off to the core!!" Jungkook said with gritted teeth as soon as he entered the CEO's office, "And this says a lot because I don't get easily pissed, you know that!"
Hoseok took a deep breath and glared at Jungkook, "Really, you don't?! And you punk-- say hello to dad first before you barge in here with your personal issues!!"
"Oh, sorry, I did not realize. Hey dad, why are you here working as soon as you arrived? You should've just stayed at home and rest for the day." Jungkook said, suddenly lowering his tone. "How was your trip?"
"It was fine. I had some things I need to take care of urgently, so I went here straight." Bang Sihyuk calmly said, leaning his back on his office chair as he turned around to face Jungkook. "Now, what is pissing you off, Jungkookie?"
Jungkook sighed deeply and answered, "First of all, please don't call me that anymore, dad. And order the others not to use it too, especially Hoseok-hyung. I'm a grown-up adult now - a long time ago actually."
Hoseok softly chuckled, "Yeah, right, dad. He's all grown up now. He's already a man at his late blooming puberty phase." He laughed louder as he said this so Jungkook glared at him.
"What? Now you can't attack me with your powers anymore!" Hoseok teased, obviously confident in front of their father.
"I've heard about your exclusive Guide, Jungkook. I'd like to meet him and do certain tests on him. He must've had certain characteristics which made him compatible with your power. And we need to discover what these traits are."
"He's gone home for the day, dad. You can meet him tomorrow. For now, hear me out please?" Jungkook said.
"What are you whining about?!" Hoseok asked, taking the card from Jungkook's hand. "What's this?! Esper Kim Namjoon's calling card? Why do you have one?"
"He gave it to Guide Seokjin. Apparently, he bumped into him around my Guide's neighborhood - which is very far from his. Does this make any sense?"
"What- and did he say anything to Guide Seokjin?" Hoseok asked, while the CEO just listened intently.
"He asked him to join his guiding team! And he said he's pretty!! That fucking--"
"Eww, what the hell!!" Hoseok exclaimed, "He calls that his guiding team?! He should call it a brothel!!"
"That means he found out that you have an exclusive Guide now. And he clearly knows him already." Sihyuk softly said. "Hoseok, we did not make an official announcement on this, did we?"
"No, dad."
"Esper Kim has an informant here in the company then. Because who would know about the exclusive Guide? Or maybe Guide Seokjin had shared this with his previous employer."
"I will check, dad. I'm sorry, I haven't been strict with him in keeping it confidential. He came from the Guide Center - since it's a public service organization like the City Guards, it only makes sense if Esper Kim has contact persons there. I believe he also gets some of his Guides there."
"That's fine. Sooner or later, the whole country will know of Jungkook's exclusive Guide anyways. They all make a loud issue when it comes to Jungkook's proper guiding. But it's just a wonder how Esper Kim found out about it first."
"What the hell is his problem with me?!" Jungkook sighed frustratedly, "The City Guards had been summoning me for various, pathetic reasons for years now - it's getting annoying already.
Now he even wants to get his hands on my Guide?! How about I just kill them all in KCGG, dad?! Can I, huh?"
Bang Sihyuk sighed, "That's exactly what he's been waiting for you to do."
