Seokjin's P.O.V.

"Good morning Guide Seokjin!"

"Hi Steph! Morning!"

That's the secretary for the whole third floor. Just like the Guides here, she's not too busy during a quiet day - a quiet day is when there are no attacks going on in the city.

There are also days when minor attacks happen within a certain area. Some espers from different guilds, A-Class and B-Class, handle them. After their fights, they require immediate guiding. But since their guilds are just small companies, they don't usually hire a lot of Guides.

That's why they visit the Guide Center.

Most of these Espers prefer to be guided by A-Class. Even the B-Class Espers go there. According to them, they feel more powerful when guided by A-Class Guides. But due to demand, they don't have a choice but get guiding from the lower class like me. That's the only time we get Esper patients here.

Therefore, since today is just an ordinary day, it's slack time in our floor.

"How are the floors above us?" I asked Steph.

"They're quite busy, Guide Seokjin. I heard that various groups just arrived earlier from their dungeon missions. So a lot of Espers need guiding.

You might need to get ready since we always serve as backup when they can't handle it anymore upstairs. Also, there were already a couple of Espers asking for you earlier."

"Asking for me? No way. I should remain invisible to these Espers, right?"

"Yeah. But you know how you attract attention with that cute face of yours, Guide Seokjin. You're very pretty." She giggled as she said this.

"No, I'm not!" I responded to her. "Anyways, just take it easy. Only accept those that we can handle, hmm? Besides, we are the ones receiving the lowest salary, so we should be doing the lesser job, right?"

She laughed with me at what I said. But I wasn't completely joking.

"Okay, see you later, Steph!" After waving at her, I already went inside my guiding clinic. It's just a small room, where we can comfortably give proper guiding.

Of course, it has a single, small bed. For level three guiding. Apparently, I haven't used this part of the room yet.

Before I could even arrange my things down on my table, I already heard from my intercom,

"Guide Seokjin, I'll send in an Esper patient. Are you ready?"

"Yes, sure. Okay."

I thought today won't be as busy?

The door opened and came in an Esper. His eyes were just a bit red, so maybe he needs to recharge just about 10-20% of his powers.

I checked my work tablet to pull up the Esper's info that Steph entered. He's a B-Class Esper. I am quite right, he's out by 15%.

"Esper Kangmin, hello. I am Guide Kim Seokjin. Please take your seat."

"Hello, Guide Seokjin. I heard from my colleagues that there is a really gorgeous Guide working on this floor. I'm so lucky to find him."

I cleared my throat as I slightly smiled at him and took my seat across him. I know this type of Esper, starting the session with these lines. They're horny for some guiding and I'm just not up for it. So I need to make it clear with him.

"Esper Kangmin, you're in need of recharging about 15% of your energy. Therefore, I would only need to hold your hand.

Please lend me either of the two, whichever you find comfortable."
