7. Level Two

"Good morning, Guide Seokjin!" Several staff in the lobby greeted as Jin entered the building. He waved at them and greeted them back.

Then he stood in front of the elevator along with the other employees, ready for another day of training and learning new things as an exclusive Guide.

However, he gasped softly as someone suddenly grabbed his hand and greeted him, "Morning, Guide Seokjin! We should start guiding as early as now so we can make the most out of today, right?"

"E-esper Jeon! Ah- yeah. Good morning too. Y-yes, sure. It'll be nice if I keep you strong early in the morning." Jin chuckled awkwardly as he looked around them.

The other employees - some were Guides, some were Espers, were looking at them with wide, intrigued eyes. So Jin felt embarrassed as he glanced at his intertwined hand with Jungkook's.

But when he glanced at the S-Class Esper, he looked unbothered - only smiling as they both waited for the elevator to arrive.

So Jin just took a deep breath and relaxed his mind to focus on his guiding. He told himself that he'll do whatever it takes to provide efficient guiding for Jungkook - and holding hands in public is the least that he could do for him.

When they reached the floor of the Guides' Training Department, Jin was startled when Hoseok suddenly appeared on their way.

"Jungkook! Ugh, I've been looking all over for you! Hi Guide Seokjin, good morning!" Hoseok greeted.

"Good morning, Esper Hoseok."

"What do you want, hyung?"

"Is that how you greet your older brother?! Aishh! What are you doing here?! This is the Guides' Training Department - you won't need any training here, and moreover, you're not a Guide!"

Jungkook raised their hands - showing Hoseok that they're interlocked. "Can't you see this- I need guiding! So I need to come with Guide Seokjin anywhere he goes."

"The hell is wrong with you!! Leave him alone when he's in training!!" Hoseok yelled. "And aren't you coming with me?! We'll pick up dad from the airport - he arrives today!"

"No can do. I need to hold hands with Guide Seokjin the whole day." Jungkook shook his head and sighed, "Just teleport there, then take dad and teleport back here. You don't need me."

"Tch! This ungrateful child!!"

"What's going on here?!" Yoongi asked as he walked past the three by the aisle, "Guide Seokjin, please get inside the training room. We'll start in five minutes."

"Babe! Jungkookie is being hard-headed again!" Hoseok said with a frustrated sigh.

Yoongi softly pinched Hoseok's cheek and said, "Just leave him for now. Go and do what you must. It's too early to frown - smile, hmm babe?"

"Okay." Hoseok slightly smiled and looked at Jungkook. He let out a deep sigh once more before disappearing before their eyes.

"Well, then. Let's get inside now."

Yoongi stood in front of ten or more Guides seated in a classroom-like setup. His eyes then went to Jin and Jungkook, and their intertwined hands on top of their writing desk.

He stayed silent for a while, thinking on his own, when Jungkook suddenly said, "Don't mind me, I'm not here. Just do your thing, Yoongi-hyung."

So Yoongi let out a deep sigh and cleared his throat before he said, "Okay! Well then, good morning everyone. I am Chief Guide Min Yoongi. I welcome you all to Hybe Power Guild. You all are new hires of the company and had been going thru your basic training the past couple of days or so.
