2. Connection

Seokjin's P.O.V.

"Y-you're-- you are.. you're Esper Jeon Jungkook??"

"Yes, I am. Do you still need my basic info, or can you start to guide me now without asking too much?!"

Woah- I can't believe I'm actually in front of the S-Class Esper Jeon.

But what I can believe though is this attitude of his!

I tried to get myself together and cleared my throat, "Esper Jeon, I- well, I clearly know the basics about you. However, I'm only a B-Class Guide. What you need is someone who's A-Class and--"

"How do you know that?!"

"Huh- know w-what?"

"How do you know what I need? Do you know my body well?! Is it yours that you already know about it?"

He is unbelievably rude! I just got really speechless at this point.

"I'm the one who knows my body, so just listen to me when I say I need guiding right now." My gaze went to the table where he laid his hand down and opened his palm, as if expecting for me to take it. He wanted to only hold hands.

"Now, can we start?" He asked with a raised eyebrow.

Well, at least he's not a horny jerk. He's just rude and demanding. I can take this much. Let's go, Jin.. it's the first time you'll get to experience the energy of an S-Class.

I then let myself get comfortable on my seat as I reached for his hand. But he abruptly stopped me.

"Wait-"

"Ah, yes. Why, Esper Jeon?"

"If in the middle of your guiding, you felt any kind of pain, just stop it. No need to ask me, okay?"

"W-what?"

He looked at me intently which made me more nervous, but his words seemed to be more comforting this time, "Well.. you're a B-Class. So it might get too much for you. I don't know how my energy could affect you, so just-- just stop it if you can't bear it, okay?"

"Ah. O-okay. I understand."

I suddenly became more worried at what he said. Being a lower class, I thought I would only be slower and that my guiding won't be as efficient. I did not expect that I would possibly feel any pain.

Anyways, we're here now and there's no turning back. As I let out a nervous sigh, I reached for his hand and gently gripped on it.

They're kinda rough. Might be because of all the trainings and combats he's gone through.

As I closed my eyes, I suddenly felt a different kind of energy. It's like a smooth, gentle flowing wind within the layers of my skin.

It felt-- it felt incredibly good.

I'd like to open my eyes so I can see his reaction. But part of me just couldn't. It's like I wanted to drift away with his energy, as it removed all my worries and nervousness.

Minutes passed, about fifteen to twenty I'm guessing, and I can already feel my energy fluctuating. But it seems to me that I'm almost done.

You know that feeling when you're just standing still at one end of a tunnel. But you can clearly see the other side of it, waiting for you to get there and welcoming you with a warm breeze and bright, vivid light.

However, passing through the tunnel scared me suddenly. I can feel that I need to dive into a deep cavern, full of darkness. Just emptiness.

I gasped at the sudden jolt of dark energy that hit me.
