Chapter Eleven - Question Time
As Leroy opened his eyes, the world he saw around him was nothing more than a vague blur. Also his neck was stiff. Why was his neck so stiff? As he tried to move he found that no matter how hard he tried his arms and legs refused to budge, that was when he realised that he was strapped to something. A chair maybe?
Then something dawned on him.
Who was that guy? What did he inject him with? And more importantly, where the hell was he?
As he began to regain his vision, he heard a noise coming from beside him.
"Lee?"
Shifting his head to the right, Leroy laid eyes upon a worn out and sorrowful looking Jade. She too had her arms and legs tied to a chair.
"Lee, are you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm okay" He grunted "What....where are we?"
"I don't know..." She replied solemnly. "...but I think we're not going to like it."
"How did we get here?"
"Well as far as I can tell I was injected with a sleeping serum and that they...well...obviously brought me here. I'm guessing that's what they did with you as well."
Leroy nodded.
"Where did they find you because I left you down by the fence. Seems quite a bold move to kidnap someone in broad daylight, don't you think?" Jade questioned.
"I wasn't down by the fence."
"Oh?"
"You had been gone a while." He began as he thought about how he was going to word this without sounding a little creepy. " So I...I started to worry...you know...about you and where you were. I decided to try and find you but when I got to the toilets you weren't anywhere to be seen."
Jade was quite flattered and very touched by what Leroy had told her. He worried about her. She never had anyone worrying over her before. However childish it may sound, it made her feel all warm and fuzzy inside. She wouldn't dare tell him that though, she'd never hear the end of it.
"So you were in they laddies toilets when they took you?"
Leroy nodded his head in embarrassment.
"Yes."
A loud booming laugh was heard from the shadows by the door in front of them. A man dressed in a suit and wearing black sunglasses was standing guard by the door. Laughing at them. Both Jade and Leroy recognised the man which stood before them. He was the man at the party, he was the man at the memorial building. He was the man that kidnapped them.
