When you think of treasure hunters or intrepid explorers, what image comes to mind? Discoveries? Mystery and the thrill of the hunt?
Or do you think of the possibly more dark and dangerous side to it all? The guns? The fighting? The constant game of cat and mouse?
The killing?
Whatever you think, you're not wrong.Or maybe you are, who's to say?
One thing I do know however is that whoever these people are they are, well just that. People. Human. They are not heroes, nor are they villains. They can not survive from amazing heights, just like in all the books, video games and movies and they certainly are not invulnerable. Just like the rest of us they can and they will die.
I'd like to tell you a story. A story about two young people who through a chance meeting, turned from ordinary people into extraordinary people.
A story about a cocky, sly 'laddies man' and a, let's say, a 'socially awkward' and slightly stubborn woman. A story about how in one night, without you even knowing it, everything can change.
