Chapter Fifteen - Lost In A Landfill
"Пустой грузовик, Боб" Came a voice from out of the darkness.
With a deafening loud screech, the garbage disposal truck emptied its contents out onto the 'mountain' of rubbish. As he watched the 'junk' fall off the back, he was startled by the sudden appearance of two young adults crashing into the unwanted waste. With a sigh, the foreign man tilted his head towards the front of the truck and spoke again.
"Боб. Двое детей выпали из грузовика снова. Сколько раз мы собираемся позволить им это сойдет с рук? Почему? Разве они не могут заниматься любовью где-нибудь еще?"
Climbing to their feet, Jade and Leroy stared at the man. They were just as shocked to see him as he was to see them.
"Jade. What is he saying?" Leroy whispered, hoping that the man wouldn't hear.
"I don't know but I think he's Russian." Jade replied as she watched the man rant and rave on. "I think we should just....leave." She finished as she edged away from the man.
"Sounds like a plan." Leroy agreed as he also took a step back from him. "But should we try and explain what we were doing? He seems a little angry, he might have the wrong idea."
"Well, I don't speak Russian so..."
Leroy took a step towards the man and gestured to the truck.
"We are very sorry." He began to say slowly, moving his arms about as if to help explain. "This...will not happen again."
"Да, черт возьми это не будет!" Spat the man.
With a weak smile, Leroy rejoined Jade as they began to walk away, leaving the poor Russian man shouting after them. After a little walk away, Jade spun around and punched Leroy in the arm.
"What the hell was that!?" She shouted as Leroy nursed is damaged limb.
"What was what?"
"You know what! We could have died! What was you thinking!?"
"Oooh..wait. You mean the whole falling off the building thing?"
"Yes Lee. Yes 'the whole falling off the building thing'. What made you possibly think that plummeting to our deaths was a good idea?" Jade snarled.
"Hey, we're alive are we not?" Leroy smiled.
"Yes and quite honestly, I have no idea how."
Jade was about to turn back around when she suddenly remembered something else.
