Of a love once cherished, now tarnished and cold.
She whispered sweet promises, like a gentle breeze,
But behind her words, a web of deceit she weaves. She told me she'd return, with love in her eyes,
But instead, she chose betrayal, with no compromise.
In the darkness of the night, I was left all alone,
As she sought solace in another, her heart turned to stone. Her words, like honey, dripped from her lips,
But her actions spoke louder, with each painful eclipse.
She painted a picture of love, so vivid and bright,
But in reality, it was nothing but a cruel, endless night.I trusted her blindly, believed in her lies,
But now my heart's broken, beneath sorrow's skies.
She played with my emotions, like a heartless game,
Leaving me to suffer, drowning in shame. But through the pain, I'll rise above,
For love's deceit cannot shatter my spirit's love.
I'll mend my broken heart, piece by piece,
And find solace in the beauty that brings me peace.
