I remember the day she broke my heart,
When trust shattered, torn apart.
Caught her cheating, talking to someone new,
In that moment, my world turned dark and blue.I remember the day she broke my heart,
A pain so deep, it tore me apart.
The betrayal cut through me like a knife,
Leaving me wounded, questioning my life.I remember the day she broke my heart,
The agony I felt, a work of cruel art.
Her words of deception echoed in my ears,
Piercing my soul, fueling my fears.I remember the day she broke my heart,
The tears streaming down, tearing me apart.
The weight of betrayal, heavy on my chest,
Leaving me gasping, longing for rest.I remember the day she broke my heart,
The emptiness engulfed me, tearing me apart.
The love we had, now tainted and stained,
Leaving me lost, in a world unrestrained.I remember the day she broke my heart,
The trust we had, forever torn apart.
The pain I felt, etched deep in my core,
Leaving me broken, longing for more. But I also remember the day I found my strength,
To heal the wounds and go to any length.
To rise above the pain and find my way,
To rebuild my heart, stronger each day.I remember the day she broke my heart,
But I won't let it define my life's chart.
For in the depths of darkness, I found my light,
And emerged stronger, ready to take flight.
