NO ONE COULD DENY THAT TIMOTHÉE WAS IN DENIAL ABOUT HIS ABNORMALLY FAST ATTRACTION for Lily-rose Depp.
While many showed they were happy for the couple, they weren't as joyed as when Ivanna and Timothée would be seen out together in the past.
They looked like the epitome of perfect.
Of soulmates.
Everyone who cared knew that what Timothée and Ivanna had was special.
That what they had came once in a lifetime to those the most special. They brought out the best in each other. Timothée made Ivanna's cold exterior melt, Ivanna made Timothée be more comfortable with how he looked, more confident almost.
Which was one of the main reasons many didn't believe that it was true that they broke up.
Many still don't believe it now even with prove of Timothée being cozy with Lily-rose Depp.
Ivanna tried to ignore the pain and Timothée tried to ignore the guilt. Both being ineffective to the two influential beings. So they tried to distract themselves or in better words. They were in denial.
Timothée used lily as a rebound of sorts and Ivanna used songwriting.
Manipulating their own minds to ignore the memories that could never be made with anyone else, trying to forget the love and the yearning shown in their hearts everyday.
Maybe someday it would work, if they weren't in love. But they were in love, so that day, will never come.
