"I must say—Memphis Waffle House doesn't have shit on Atlanta Waffle House. I missed this." Cali said as she ate her All-Star breakfast. They were finally back in the A and the spring semester was in full swing.

"Damn, little lady. You sure can put it away." Kyran teased, making everyone laugh.

"Not too much, Ky." Cali said.

"So, pops is really moving back to Memphis?" Asia asked.

Jonah nodded. "Yeah, he and Raya are rekindling their relationship and other shit." He mumbled.

"What's wrong?" Cali said.

"I'm just feeling some type of way—that's all." Jonah sighed. "Don't get me wrong, I'm happy for him but it's like he just kicked my ass to the curb. It's always been me and him until Madi came along. Then it was me, her, and him. Now it seems like he's starting a new life without me."

"Awwww." Asia pouted.

"Did you tell him about your feelings?" Kyran asked.

"I can't. He's actually happy and I don't want to mess that up." Jonah said. "I just wish he waited until I at least graduated from college before moving."

"You should really talk to him, Jonah. Your dad comes off as very understanding when it comes to you." Cali told him.

Jonah sighed again. "I'll think about it."

"Jonah, c'mon man. Tell pops what's up with you." Kyran said.

"Aight." Jonah replied as he ate his bacon.

Kyran sucked his teeth. "He ain't gon tell him."

"Man, shut the fuck up." Jonah retorted.

"You shut the fuck up." Kyran said. "Folks trying to help your sad ass and you don't wanna listen."

"Y'all, stop." Asia told them. "Y'all worse than siblings."

"Tell him to fucking stop." Jonah said. "Sick of his shit."

Cali folded her lips as she tried to hold in her laugh. She found Jonah and Kyran's arguments very amusing. It reminded her of her arguments with Tristan.

"I don't give a fuck about you being sick of my shit. You better take some NyQuil and sweat that shit out." Kyran said.

Cali giggled. "Leave him alone."

Kyran waved Cali off. "He just better tell his damn father."

Heather opened the door and gasped when she saw Karis standing there. Never in a million years did she think this day would come.

Karis gave her a small smile, trying to avoid any awkwardness. "May I come in?"

"Yes, I'm sorry." Heather replied, letting her in. "Would you like some hot tea or anything?"

"No, I'm fine." Karis said as she took off her coat. "I like how you remodeled."

"Thank you." Heather said.

"Who was at the door, mamas?" Amaru said from the living room. Heather motioned Karis to follow her and they entered the living room. "Karis!" He exclaimed as he stood up. "Wow, it's so good to see you."
