Later that night Andrew held his quiet wife Glory in their bed in his son and son in law's house as he sang her favorite song Tale As Old As Time. Tears glistened in her eyes as she smiled softly.

Luci sat cross-legged on the floor in Theodore's room listening to him playing his violin pensively. He had taken his sling off his arm and his eyes were closed. He looked almost beautiful as he played the haunting tune. Luci sighed and thought that he wasn't so bad after all.

Angel Anderson rested in the hospital bed in ST. Paul's Hospital Center's ICU ward. His eyes were troubled as he remembered that far away day when his punch drunk boxer lover had told him to get the fuck out and never come back again. He remembered doing just that. She closed her eyes and prayed. Then she reopened them to see a short plump Black woman in a light blue cotton dress and white sneakers standing on the front steps looking at her.
The woman smiled at her, saying," Are you here for the meeting? "
Faith hesitated. Then she said haltingly," Yes. I'm an alcoholic. I need help. "
The woman said with understanding," Welcome. I'm Pastor Joy Jones. Come on in , sister. "
