~Ray's POV~

Mom walked up to me. I was reading under the shade of the oak tree again. "Where's everyone else?"

I looked up from his book. "I dunno. They're all probably playing tag in the forest."

Emma's idea was to use the idea of tag as a cover up to train the kids. Norman was 'it', and the kids were using strategies that would eventually help them when they had to escape and face the demons. It was probably one of the smarter ideas she's had in a while.

After the training that day, Sister Krone walked up to the group of kids that were sitting under the oak tree. I was telling them about their weaknesses and how they could fix them. Norman was sitting next to me, hugging his knees. I trailed off as Sister Krone got closer.

"Are you playing tag? It looks like fun. Mind if I join?" She smiled in a non threatening way.

Norman looked up and over at Krone. "Sure. I don't see why not." He also smiled, but it wasn't the usual soft smile he gave to the people he cared about. It was fake, but he made it seem like the smile was genuine.

"Great! I'll be 'it'."

Sister Krone counted down from ten as the kids ran into the forest. She caught most of the kids a lot faster than Norman usually does. Soon, there were only five kids left. Norman, Emma, Phil, and a girl that was Phil's age(I don't know her name-), and me.

~Emma's POV~

Sister Krone was chasing me, and I grabbed Phil and the other girl.

"Cover your mouths." Phil and the girl clapped their little hands over their mouths.

I hid behind a rock with the two kids, and after peeking out, I saw Sister Krone.

This is bad. She's not even breaking a sweat!

"I know you're here somewhere, Emma. Aren't you tired from carrying the two little ones? I bet you've never been chased like this before." Krone smirked. "Did you know? Norman's weakness is physical strength. I learned that he was rather feeble when he was younger. Ray's weakness is that he's too quick to give up. And you, Emma... your weakness is being naive. Like carrying others whilst being chased. If you saw the harvest that day, then I'm on your side."

I sensed a presence above me. I looked up and found Sister Krone staring at me. "Found you."

~Sister Krone's POV~

I had about eight minutes left. I was chasing after Norman and Ray. They were running along side each other. But Ray made a gesture to Norman, and they separated. I decided to chase after Norman first.

He won't be too hard to catch. He's physically weak.

I ran after him until he disappeared. I was standing in a rocky area. After looking around for a bit, I finally saw Norman. He was sitting on top of rock, taking deep breaths.

How the hell did he get up there? He's so scrawny!

Someone touched my arm. I turned my head and saw Ray, holding a pocket watch.

"Time's up. Looks like we won, Sister Krone."

Norman jumped down from the rock and walked over to Ray. Ray gently ruffled Norman's hair, smiling at him. Norman giggled softly. I stared at them for a few seconds before beginning to walk back to the other kids.

Those lovebirds...

~Ray's POV~

Norman and I followed Sister Krone, and once we got back to the others, a bunch of kids ran up to us.

"Did we win? Did we win?" Don grabbed Norman by the shoulders. I felt a surge of possessiveness run through my body, but I kept my face neutral. Norman didn't want to be mine.

"Yeah, we did." Norman laughed.

The kids cheered as the bell signaling meal time began to ring.
