"Danielle, I swear!" I said as I chased my cousin around the house, her laughter echoed throughout the house where it was only me and her, and the imaginary ghost that was helping me chase her.
She keeps reminding me about what happened last night with Minji! And I kept running after her. "You definitely have the fucking hots for Kim Minji!" I threw a pillow at her and it hit her directly on the back of her head and it caused her to fall.
I went to her and looked down at her. "I do not!" I protested but she only stuck out her tongue at me as she started to stand up. "It's okay, every girl is in denial nowadays." She said, flipping her hair over and I could only look at her in disbelief. This woman is crazy.
"But you do have to admit she is hot." Danielle said, fluttering her eyes a bit. And I shook my head at her, not going planning on answering her. "Oh, come on! Hanni we both know damn well there is no single bit of straight in you. Not with the way you danced all over her!" Danielle claimed as she followed me up the stairs.
"And you also have to admit that she isn't like the rest of the jocks." She said and it made me freeze on the last step. I turned to look at her and she gave me a smile that let me know that she already knew what I was about to say.
"Fine, yes. I do admit she's different and that's she's also a little hot." I said and she let out a squeal. "We both know what you really think." She said with a smirk as she pushed me up the stairs. "And what is it that I think?" I asked and she let out that evil smirk that she usually does when she's about to say something that would probably make me want to chop her head off.
"That Minji is very hot, like come on! Even I know she's hot and I have my eyes on her cute cousin." Danielle said with a lip bite and I wanted to throw up so bad. "Leave the poor girl alone, Danielle!" I said and she let out a shrug.
"That girl is so going to be head over heels for me before Christmas break." Danielle said as she shrugged her shoulders. Looking at her nails as if she was some queen. I smacked her arm which caused her to whine. "Remember what happened with Wonyoung?" I asked and Danielle gave me an eye roll.
"Ugh! We don't talk about exes." She said and I could only shake my head. "Plus, she lost all of this." Danielle said as she gestured to her model like body, but sadly she was too short for the height requirement.
"Come on, Hanni. Don't be so boring and try to get yourself laid by the Minji Kim." Said Danielle and I looked at her in disbelief. "What's with you and sex?" I asked and she let out a giggle.
"It's world changing really, if it's done right." I made a gagging noise as I walked away from her. "Come back here!" She said, almost managing to stop me from closing the door to my room. "Stay away from me!" I yelled from inside my room and I could hear Danielle letting out a laugh.
"I know you'll realize sooner or later! And when it happens don't come to me saying I was right." Danielle said for one last time, dropping the topic as I could hear her footsteps walking away to her room.
I let out a sigh as I plopped myself on my bed, feeling a little tired and drained with everything that Danielle has told me. Thank the lord that it was Saturday today, and that I would be able to avoid Minji for two whole days until Monday.
What happened last night, was just not me. It was the alcohol! Despite it all, I had fun. And that's what I had gone to do. Don't tell Danielle this, but I did truly enjoy dancing with Minji. It wasn't forced and we definitely matched each other.
And if I were to be the slightest bit of honest, a part of me is scared that Danielle might be right. Because I don't do, hots, crushes, and one time flings. For me, it's love or no love at all. If I manage to like Minji, it'll be over for me.
