VENUS RAN THROUGH THE BUSY streets of London. Her curly hair flying around her. She woke up so late that she didn't even get time to brush it or straighten it, leaving it in her naturally tight curls. Apologising as she bumped into strangers who would sent her a dirty look before continuing about their day. It seemed like a normal morning for her. Not being able to sleep the night prior. Her brain plagued with nightmares until her body got too tired and passed out in the early hours of the morning, to then miss her alarm and have to find the quickest way to work. That specific morning, she had also missed her bus, meaning she had to rely on her legs to carry her to work, almost a full twenty minute of sprinting through the city.

She reached The National Art Gallery barely in time. Covered in a thin layer of sweat. She wiped her forehead with the back of her hand as she slowed her pace down slightly, not wanting to alarm any of the visitors of the museum. Speed walking towards the staff room whenever no-one was around.

When she finally reached it, she slammed the door shut behind her and leaned against it. Leaning forward and catching her breath.

"Late. Again."

Venus groaned and looked up. Spotting Donna walking past. Popping gum in her mouth as she gave the younger woman a bored look. She held some boxes in her arms and gestured to them.

"Your punishment is helping Stevie at the gift shop today," Donna told her.

Venus nodded. She dropped her bag and took off her jacket to hang on the chair she usually used during lunchtime before grabbing some of the boxes from Donna and walking out behind her. Glaring at the back of the blonde woman's head.

When they walked out into the main part of the museum. Venus almost instantly spotted Steven. He was standing with a young girl, showing her a sarcophagus and telling her all about it. Something he always loved to do and something Donna hated him doing.

"Stevie," The blonde called out. Clearly annoyed.

Steven quickly straightened up and turned in the direction of the voice. Recognising it instantly and knowing he was in deep shit.

"That better not be you again," She rolled her eyes.

Steven rushed over, "Sorry, Donna. Yeah, sorry. Got it," He apologised, reaching to grab the boxes she held. His eyes widening when he spotted Venus standing not too far behind, also holding some boxes in her arms. He greeted her, a light pink tinge to his cheeks when she smiled at him. He offered to take the boxes from her but she refused, seeing him already struggle with the ones he had in his arms as he balanced his bag on his shoulder as well.
