THE TRIO WALKED THROUGH THE tomb with their flashlights out and their bodies on high alert. No matter how far they walked, it seemed that the whole tomb was just there to confuse people, bringing them back to where they started from one path, another path leading to a dead end, and a few that were still left undiscovered.

"It's a maze," Layla breathed out.

"It's a-maze-ing," Steven said, chuckling to himself.

Venus couldn't help the small smile that graced her lips at his pun. Steven felt grateful in that moment for how dark the interior of the tomb was, hiding his flaming red cheeks from view.

"No, like, there are six paths," Layla pointed out.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah," Steven nodded, but he still held an excited grin on his face.

Each of the trio looked down a different path. Trying to figure out which one would be the correct one. They were able to instantly take two out of the equations. One that led back to the start and the other that was a dead end, giving them a slightly better chance.

"What would they be shooting at?" Layla muttered to herself.

Furrowing her brows in confusion, Venus turned around to look at Layla. Watching as she knelt down at the beginning of one of the paths, picking something up. Wordlessly, the Black Widow walked over, looking over Layla's shoulder and spotting the bullet shell casings in the sand, right next to some large footprints. Ones she was sure didn't belong to either of them.

Venus finally looked away when she heard Steven walking behind her, she had expected him to join the two women, but when he didn't, she turned around to look at him. Tilting her head as she watched him using his finger to draw something in the sand on a broken pillar in the middle of the area. Layla stood up and the two women went to join him.

"This whole structure..." Steven began to speak, keeping his eyes on the drawing of the eye that he was creating, "...Is a symbol."

"The eye of Horus," Venus breathed out.

Steven looked up at her once he finished, nodding, "Yeah. The royal symbol, protection in the afterlife."

"I mean, like, the resources needed to build this thing..." Layla breathed out in amazement, "...Her final Avatar was a pharaoh."

"Whoa! A bloody pharaoh," Steven grinned.

"So, what, do you think this is a map?" Venus asked, glancing up at Steven.
