Father Yamato sat in a room with the principle, a teacher, and the couple who he wanted gone from the very town they were in.
Father Yamato sat, one leg on top of the other, his foot tapped the ground in a repetitive manor, his back was hunched, and his arms were crossed, fingers digging into his them, while his face held displeasure for everyone to see, in truth he was concerned, yet his dark eye still held that burning fire.
Father Yamato had been called to the school because something had happened, he had never been called to school unless it was for him to attended assembly's and see the child under his care gain awards, he had never been called to discuss Max in the principal's office with another parent.
Something was very wrong, and Father Yamato grew concerned for Max, especially after he saw he would be talking with Mr and Mrs Constellations.
"Alright-" The principle cleared his throat. "Let's start with an introduction seeing as you are new here-"
"What happened to Max?" Father Yamato went straight to the point.
"Well-" The principle tried.
"I think we should know what happened to our son." Mrs Constellations said, leaning forward and crossing her own arms.
"Your children got into a fight-" The principle tried again.
"A physical one." The teacher added.
The parents in the room widened their eyes in shocked, what?!
"What do you mean, Corvus would never hit anyone." Mr Constellation finally spoke, his voice gruff.
"Neither would Max." Father Yamato pointed a glare at the other parents.
"Well, Max was seen starting the altercation-" The principle tried to explain.
"You should expel them then if they assaulted another." Mrs Constellation shrieked.
"Max would never attack anyone, its either a lie or your son started it!" Father Yamato said, his voice increasing in volume.
"Ok could we-" the principle raised his hands and waved them around slightly.
"My son would never start a fight unprovoked, your child obviously did something!" Mrs Constellation yelled at Father Yamato.
"Max would never want to start fights; they are a responsible young adult!" At this point Father Yamato and Mrs Constellation had forgotten about the other people in the room, Mr Constellation was holding Mrs Constellation back to stop her from lunging forward.
"Ok could we-" The principle tried again but Father Yamato and Mrs Constellation were in a screaming battle. "Alright enough!" The principle slammed his hand on the desk, and everyone was silent. "Max started the fight, but Corvus prompted it."
"How?" Both Father Yamato and Mrs Constellation hissed quietly.
"Corvus brought up Max's father, which is quite a sensitive subject." The principle explained in a soft voice and Father Yamato froze, how could Corvus just bring him up like that, he dug his elbows into his knees and his hands held his chin.
"I-" Mrs Constellation looked confused. "How is the topic of Max's father, sensible for starting a fight?"
"Max's father is dead."
"Oh." Mrs Constellation backed off. "I-I still don't-"
"Max's father was the backbone of this town." Father Yamato began. "And you dare insult his memory!" Father Yamato shot up; he already thought the Constellation's were terrible but that was taking it way too far. "Where is Max, I need to see how much damage their son was done."
"Excuse me-" Mrs Constellation went to protest.
"Oh, you're excused, now where is Max!" Father looked up to the education workers.
"Please Father Yamato-" The principle tried.
"Where are they!" He shrieked like a falcon.
"Classroom D5." The teacher said out of fear for his own life, the Christen worker was very much a threat in that moment.
Father Yamato rushed out of the classroom before anyone else stood up, his feet thudded against the flooring, eyes tracking the numbers above each door, soon enough the other parent were rushing down the halls.
Father Yamato's eyes widened as he finally realized, the kids were placed in the same room for as long as when the adults were "Talking" what if that Corvus decided to take revenge, what if they fought again.
Once Father Yamato's eyes landed on the number, he clenched his elbows in front of him and thrusted himself, he grunted as the door opened quite easily and he almost fell to the floor.
The other adults quickly arrived, both education workers panting quite fiercely along with Father Yamato, but the Constellation's seemed used to sudden exercise and fast movements.
The kids inside the room were panting and giggling before but at the sudden intrusion, Max had shot up, the children's heads were together, but their bodies opposite each other.
Max hummed with confusion and Corvus tilted his head, there were two brooms discarded beside them.
"Hello?" Max said and Father Yamato rushed forward, his hands clasping around Max's chest, and he jerked them up.
"Max? did he hurt you?" Father Yamato said concerned.
"No?" Max said confused and Father Yamato suppressed s sigh. "We were just playing."
The parents in the room stilled, what were they hearing?!
"No, No-" Father Yamato panicked.
"Aww." The teacher or principle cooed. "It seems as though we can put this whole altercation behind us-"
"No." Both Father Yamato and the Constellation's said, Corvus and Max looked at each other confused. "They will never be friends and it is for reasons beyond your moral understanding." Father Yamato hissed before walking out of the room.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Father Yamato and Max were about halfway home before they spoke.
"What was that about?" Max kicked the ground as they walked beside their caretaker.
"Nothing you need worry about, just promise me Max." Father Yamato stopped the child in front of them and crouched down, he held onto Max's should and looked at them in the eyes. "You need to promise me that you won't go near that boy, ok?"
Max looked around.
"Max this is important." Father Yamato assured.
"There is a fault in your request which damages me." Max responded.
"Which is?" Father Yamato prompted.
"The second and fifth grade sometimes attend classes together so if I try to stay away from him it would damage my education." Max explained.
"Oh... ok." Father Yamato sighed, he though they were actually in danger or were damaged.
"But I will do everything thing in my power to try and do what you ask." Max nodded.
"Well, that's good." Father Yamato said as he stood up. "Let's head home."
The two continued to walk home, well Father Yamato walked, and Max hopped along the path, getting dust everywhere.
Max looked up at the sound of a car, in front of their house was a white SUV, Niko's family had just arrived, and they were talking to Lady Sissy Iris.
Niko raised his own head as started walking towards Max, he looked as confused as Max was.
"Hey what's going on?" Max asked.
"I-I." Niko pressed his lips into a thin line. "We may be moving." Max gasped. "But I dunno, we're talking to your elders for one last meal together."
"Oh Niko." Max's eyes became watery, and they grabbed a hold of Niko.
