Mrs Constellations tried to help Corvus the best she could, but the turning prohibited her from coming close, Mr Constellations hung around the small plain in the forest, making sure nothing could emerge from the woods to interrupt or harm his family.
However, the way his son was whimpering and screaming kept distracting him, he repeatably turned his head to the hunched figure on the ground.
Corvus had turned nine a couple of days ago, and his transformation decided to begin, his limbs were itchy, the sun was too bright, everything was too loud, too feely, to smelly, his back hurt and it only seemed to quell when he was hunched over.
Mrs Constellations leaned close to her son. "Please, you will be ok, please." It wasn't much reassurance since she didn't seem to believe it, Mrs Constellations turned to her husband. "Aries please, something is wrong, he isn't-he's not."
"What do mean he's not, he's not a damn wild wolf, he is civilized, he should be able to do this." Aries spat.
"He-" Mrs Constellations was cut off as she heard an audible snapping sound of her son's leg and another scream from him. "He may need to have a tether." She admitted.
"What? No, he can't, we didn't need anything, he just needs to learn to embrace the change." Mr Constellation growled.
Mrs Constellation was getting angry. "Listen to me he needs-" She was cut off by the sound of footsteps and bushes ruffling.

Max didn't want to get up, they wanted to stay tucked in, it was a school night, but nooo, Father Yamato had to awake them and drag them out of bed.
"Max." Father Yamato said.
Max murmured back a response, clutching their cuddly close, the soft toy they hung onto had a rabbit's head, arms, and a curtain for a body, but they loved it so, so much, it was one of the last things they had of their parents.
"Max." Father Yamato said more sternly and then Max was shaking.
Max opened their eyes, the full moon seeped its muffled light into the room and Max sat up, rubbing their eyes. "What?" They mumbled.
"We need to go." Father Yamato said.
"What why?" Max said, lowering their hands from their face.
"I said you would discover what is wrong with your "friend" and here is the time so get up, get up." Father Yamato whispered as he pulled Max's covers back.
Max stepped off the bed, almost falling but they caught themselves at the last moment.
"Good, good, let's go." Father Yamato slipped Max's feet into slippers and grabbed their hand, pulling them into the hallway, Max had dropped the toy before they were dragged out of the room.
"Be quiet Mrs Iris is still asleep." Father Yamato said, and Max was too tired to think anything of it, the two left the house, not bothering to close the door, now that it was near twilight.
Sometime after they had entered the forest Max had become aware of their surroundings and what was occurring.
"Where are we going?" Max hopped over a tree trunk and jumped onto the ground; their nightgown was bound to get dirty by this point.
"To see your "friend" and what a monster he truly his." Father Yamato pushed Max forward into a bush, and they fell onto their hands and knees on the other side.
"Hey-!" Max stopped as they looked up, Mr and Mrs Constellation were there, but there was also something flailing on the ground, it screamed and whimpered and made snaping sounds.
