What we explore: Why is it so important to reveal your beauty?
What's new: How to discover your beauty?
What we will learn: How is the experience of the ancient Greeks regarding beauty useful to us?
1. The secret of the aesthetic lies in the amazing consistency of the "face" of an object with the internal emotional-imaginative life of a human (Kanke V.A. 2003) [1].
2. Inner beauty transforms a person's appearance. Others perceive such a person as pleasant, good, pretty, possessing complete beauty - to be beautiful! (Author).
3. Revealing the secrets of beauty. Secret means hiding from someone, so it needs to be revealed, like a skilled jeweler acquiring a rough diamond. At first, a rough diamond looks like an ordinary mineral stone: no look, shape, or beauty. But now the jeweler reveals the secret of the mineral by cutting it, releasing the "inner fire" - the "play" of refracted light. And now the former unremarkable mineral becomes a diamond of amazing beauty, sparkling with its facets and creating the fullness of a unique color. How can you become a jeweler about your individuality?
4. Become the jeweler of your individuality. How to achieve this? Having illuminated the center of your feelings - the heart, with the facets of acquired different knowledge about your inner beauty, you will be able, like a jeweler, to reveal the secret of your beauty (II fr. 8. 10; 5. 5-7). Then the heart will be able to radiate our image of beauty - the "inner fire" - the "game" of refracted edges. Refraction of edges occurs when a human "polishes" the edges of character, based on his individuality (I fr. 20. 8; 21. 14–16). As a result, others will perceive such a human as pleasant, good, pretty, and possessing complete beauty - to be beautiful, which means to have an excellent degree of beauty! (III fr. 9. 10). In psychology, the center of feelings is understood as the sensation and perception of one's "I", in physiology – neuroplasticity or the development and change of the brain, and in philosophy, it is defined as aesthetics [1, 2, 3]. What does philosophy mean by the word aesthetics?
5. Understanding of aesthetics. Why was a jeweler able to see a future diamond sparkling with amazing beauty in a raw mineral? He mastered the master's art of perceiving (feeling) not the superficial form of a mineral, but seeing the future image of a diamond based on its individual characteristics - color, shape, weight, and its purity (impurities and defects). The art of a jeweler is to create a diamond from a mineral taken for processing that could reflect the fullness of its beauty, based on its individual characteristics. Mastering the skill of a jeweler requires a sensory perception of the beauty of the future diamond. Also, mastering aesthetics teaches a person to be a master of perceiving beauty in its entirety.
• "The founder of aesthetics, Baumgarten, defined beauty as the perfection [completeness, author's editorship] of the sensual, and art as the embodiment of beauty" (author's italics) (Kanke V.A. 2003) [1].
So, Alexander Baumgarten, a researcher of the philosophical category "beauty," showed that a human can perceive beauty with the help of the fullness of the sensual or aesthetics. This confirms the earlier conclusion of psychologists that some people have a special need - an aesthetic one. Such people are in dire need of feeling beauty and enjoying it (I fr. 26. 16, 18).
* Baumgarten Alexander Gottlieb (1714–1762) is a German philosopher who is responsible for the creation of the philosophical science of aesthetics, which he started in his hitherto little-known work "Aesthetics."
