                                      ~Kim Taehyung

                                ....

Jungkook was silently working on the kitchen, his whole body was hurting. The pain from the beatings he endured the previous day weighed on his weary body. Every movement sent a jolt of pain through him, and his mind was clouded with thoughts of the upcoming visit. Well he was happy with their visit as Taehyung's family always treated him with great care and never cared less for him, he just wonder, for how many days they will stay here because that many days Jungkook will have to endure comparitavly less pain than the usual days....

With trembling hands, he moved around the kitchen, preparing food and trying to hide the fact that he was in pain....

The kitchen was filled with the sounds of pots clanging and pans sizzling as Jungkook diligently cooked up a storm for Taehyung's family. Despite the pain that coursed through his body with every movement, he tried his best to hide it, not wanting to worry Taehyung's family with his condition. He knew that he would have to endure this pain for the duration of their visit, but he found solace in the fact that they would treat him with care and kindness, unlike his abusive husband....

As Jungkook cooked, memories of his own family surfaced in his mind. He remembered growing up with parents who loved and cared for him, and a grandmother who he had a very close bond with. They never had much money, but they were happiest and never asked anything from anyone. This was completely different from the life he lives now, where he has a wealthy husband who treats him with cruelty....

They were a happy family untill oneday Jungkook's Mom Dad met with an accident while coming to pick him up from his school..... Jungkook was only 12 years old when he lost his parents. His parents died leaving him all alone in the world with his old Grandma....

The pain of losing his family at such an young age still weighed heavily on his heart, and he often wondered how different his life would be right now if they were still alive....

The memory of his grandmother working in a cafe in order to make ends meet after his parents died, stuck in Jungkook's mind....

They struggled a lot, barely making any money due to Taehyung's expensive school fees and other stuff. Jungkook couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt whenever he saw his grandma working so hard to provide for him. He felt like he was just adding more stress to her life....

When Jungkook was 15 years old, he managed to start selling his artworks, which helped him and his grandmother with extra money. He was extremely talented in painting, and that was the skill that was helping him to survive.

He couldn't help but feel a sense of pride in himself for being able to support his grandmother in such a way, even though he was so young at that time. But everything crashed when his grandma fell ill, she could not go to cafe anymore and Jungkook had to give up on his School as he had to take the responsibility of his family along with his Grandma's treatment, he could barely fullfil the basic necessities of his family like, food, shelter and clothing. He remembered how they had to sell off their belongings in order to afford his grandma's treatments, and the constant anxiety and stress they faced during that period was unbearable....

At the age of 17, Jungkook had picked up the job of being a home tutor to earn some extra money for his family and even had hopes of rejoining school again, but all his dreams shattered when his student's parents found out that he was a school drop out and immediately terminated his services without any mercy. He recalled how he begged and pleaded with them to not terminate him, but they coldly threw him out of their house, leaving him shattered and hopeless once again....

At the age of 20, the diagnosis of his grandmother's cancer hit him hard, and he knew at that point that there was no hope of ever rejoining school. His priority shifted completely to his grandmother's treatment and taking care of her as her condition started worsening. He had to let go of his dreams forever and focus on his grandmother's health and survival, knowing that his education would have to take a backseat.....

But finally oneday when Jungkook was 22 years old, he just returned from his part time job, he saw an old woman, most probably of his Grandma's age standing at their doorstep. As he approached her, he found out that she was his Grandma's childhood bestfriend.... And after her arrival, he started seeing new hope.... She was rich , her name was Kim Haneul.... and she promised to treat his Grandma.... Well Taehyung new that saving his Grandma was now next to imposible as she was in
the last stage of cancer but he still saw hope which crashed when she died two years ago....

The memory of his grandmother's final wish resurfaced in Jungkook's mind, where she strongly wished to see Jungkook and Hanuel's grandson get married before she died... Unfortunately, her wish remained unfulfilled, as Taehyung was then in London, completing his higher studies and was unable to make it back in time before her passing.... Well actually Taehyung refused to marry Jungkook when Jin informed him about his Grandma's best friend's last wish, because he already had a girlfriend who was strongly disliked by his family, specially his Appa, Jin.....

As a result Jungkook got married to Taehyung two years ago, which was a forced marriage for Taehyung.... Jungkook had a hope that after the marriage everything will be alright, he will get a happy family. However, his hopes were soon shattered when he found himself in a physically and mentally abusive marriage, where his husband treated him with coldness and cruelty, constantly reminding him that their marriage was nothing more than an obligation and the abuse increased when they moved to a seperate house after Hanuel, that is Taehyung's Grandma's death....

He knew deep down that Taehyung despised his existence, but he was grateful that he had not divorced him yet because he had nowhere else to go and no means to support himself. He was reliant on Taehyung for a roof over his head, for food, and he felt trapped and insecure in this loveless marriage.

And in Taehyung's perspective, he harbored resentment and a desire to punish Jungkook for the fact that he was forced to marry him instead of his girlfriend, who had ultimately married someone else. This sense of injustice fueled Taehyung's abusive tendencies towards Jungkook, as he sought to dominate and torment his husband in order to quench his own anger and bitterness....
