“Finally,” you sighed, stepping out of the car.
“Alright, where’s Tae?” Jungkook asked, scanning the surroundings for Taehyung.
“I have no idea,” you replied nonchalantly, causing Jungkook to give you an exasperated look.
Meanwhile, Taehyung, who had been waiting for you both for quite some time, finally spotted you, a smile instantly spreading across his face.
However, that smile quickly disappeared the moment he noticed...
JUNGKOOK.
‘What is he doing here? Can't they be apart for even a minute?’ Taehyung thought bitterly.
Jungkook soon spotted Taehyung and started walking towards him, leaving you to trail behind, looking like a lost puppy with a confused expression.
Jungkook embraced Taehyung with a hug that had more force than necessary, patting his back enthusiastically.
“Hey, bro!”Jungkook greeted with his usual exuberance.
“Uh, hi,” Taehyung replied, still glancing around as if searching for something—or someone.
"So, what kind of movie are we watching?" Jungkook inquired, tilting his head slightly, waiting for an answer.
“It's a romantic film” Taehyung responded, to which Jungkook immediately made a face of disgust.
“She’s not a fan of romance,” Jungkook remarked, gesturing toward you.
“Bu—”Taehyung began, but before he could finish his sentence, you called his name, waving with a sweet smile.
“Hi, Tae!”
“Hi, Ynieeee,” he responded warmly, his smile returning.
“Alright, let's get going,” Jungkook said, holding up tickets for The Avengers.
--Y/n's perspective --
I desperately wanted to get out of there.
These boys would never give me a moment's peace. Now we weren’t even in the theater anymore.
We got kicked out—thanks to Jungkook.
Both he and Taehyung had been shouting at the screen like children, telling the heroes how to fight, as if they could actually hear them.
I twisted Jungkook’s ear sharply.
“Ow-ow, YN, what are you doing? It hurts! Stop!” he whined, writhing in pain.
“Shut up! You ruined my day,” I snapped angrily.
It had been a bad day already, starting with the misfortune of waking up and seeing Jungkook’s face first thing in the morning.
“YN, I really wanted to spend time with you, but I have something important to do, so I’m sorry,”
Taehyung said, his smile apologetic, and I just nodded in acknowledgment.
“Ow, YN,” Jungkook yelped again.
“What now, huh? Shut up,” I scolded in irritation.
Taehyung waved his hand to say goodbye, and I waved back.
Turning back to Jungkook, I twisted his ear once more.
“Ow, stop, please!” he pleaded.
“Are you a monkey or what?” I yelled, my words coming out like rapid fire.
“I’m sorry!” he pouted, showing his puppy eyes.
“Fine,”I relented, finally letting go of his ear.
Author's POV:
The drive home was silent, the car's AC humming loudly, while the music blasted in the background.
“YN,” Jungkook finally broke the silence, capturing your attention.
“What will we do after college? We won’t be able to see each other as much,” he mused aloud.
“Well, I’ve been thinking about that too,” you admitted.
“So, have you come up with any ideas?” he asked, glancing briefly at you, noticing how absorbed you were in watching the scenery outside the window.
“I can’t imagine my life without you,” you confessed, making him hum in agreement.
“Got any plans?” he pressed on, curious.
“Yeah, I’ll just apply super glue and stick to you forever,” you joked, giggling at your own ridiculous idea.
Jungkook chuckled as well, knowing that only you could come up with something so silly.
He had come to expect nothing less from you.
“What do you want to do now?” he asked, keeping his eyes on the road.
“Nothing, really,” you replied, clueless as to how to spend the rest of your day.
“Alright, then let's head to my place,” Jungkook suggested, clearly pleased with his own idea.
You scoffed, rolling your eyes. “Uh, no, I’m not.”
But Jungkook just smirked, glancing at you with a mischievous look.
“Oh, yes, you are,” he teased, as he turned the car toward his house.

Upon arriving, you were prepared to head inside, but the sight that greeted you wasn’t what you had anticipated. Sitting on the couch like a queen was Mia—Jungkook’s new girlfriend.
As you walked in, she noticed your arrival. Rising from the couch, she approached you and Jungkook.
“You’re back, Jungkook,” she remarked, her voice laced with concern.
Then, turning her attention to you, she offered a polite smile. “Hi, I’m Mia,” she introduced herself.
“YN,” you responded, forcing a smile in return.
“Come upstairs, I’ll get you something to wear,”
Jungkook said, completely disregarding Mia. “Um, okay,” you mumbled, following him up the stairs and into his room—a place you were all too familiar with.
He walked over to the wardrobe and pulled out a white button-up shirt paired with black shorts.
“I’m not wearing that,” you protested immediately.
It was way too revealing.
“Fine, then stay in your underwear,” he said without a hint of shame.
“Ugh, shut up! I’ll wear it,” you grumbled, stomping off to the bathroom.
