--Y/n's Perspective--
I stood at the entrance of Jungkook's grand mansion, my heart racing as I took a deep breath and rang the doorbell.
I had practiced my words countless times, hoping this would be the moment I could finally talk things over and fix what I had broken.
When the door opened, I was greeted by Mia's smug smile as she leaned casually against the frame. "Well, well, if it isn't Y/n. What a surprise," she said, her voice dripping with sarcasm.
"Is Jungkook home?" I asked, trying to keep my voice steady despite the knot in my stomach.
"Oh, he's definitely here," she replied, stepping aside to let me in. I could feel her eyes on me as I entered, every instinct telling me this would lead to a confrontation.
"I need to speak with him, Mia. It's important," I said, my voice firm, though I felt my confidence slipping under her glare.
"Important, huh? What could you possibly say that hasn't been said? You slapped him and ran away like a coward," she shot back, crossing her arms and raising an eyebrow.
I felt my cheeks flush at the reminder. "That was a mistake. I'm here to apologize and explain myself."
Mia laughed, a cold, sharp sound that echoed in the large foyer.
"Explain? What's left to explain? You've already shown your true colors. Do you think he'll just forgive you because you suddenly feel guilty?"
I clenched my fists, frustration bubbling inside me. "You don't know how I feel! I was scared, and I didn't handle things well. But that doesn't mean I don't care about him!"
Her expression turned smug again, satisfaction lighting up her eyes as she stepped closer.
"Care? You think that's enough? You're just playing the victim, Y/n. You can't just waltz back into his life after causing all this trouble."
"I'm not playing the victim!" I snapped, stepping forward, determined not to back down. "I'm owning my mistakes, and I want to show Jungkook that I've changed."
Mia's smile faltered for a moment, but then she stood tall, her gaze hardening. "Changed? Do you think a few apologies will fix everything? You're naive, Y/n. Jungkook deserves someone who won't hurt him."
"And you think that's you?" I retorted, my heart racing. "You've been trying to control him. If you really cared about him, you'd let him make his own choices."
Mia scoffed, stepping even closer, and I could feel the tension crackling in the air. "You don't know anything about me. I've been there for him when it mattered. You're just a passing phase."
"Maybe," I said, my determination growing. "But I'm not going to let you intimidate me. Jungkook deserves to hear what I have to say. He deserves to know how I feel."
She narrowed her eyes at me, her gaze heavy and threatening. "And what makes you think he wants to hear from you? You think he'll just forget how you hurt him?"
I took a deep breath, my heart pounding in my chest. "I know I messed up, but I'm ready to fight for him. I won't back down just because you want me to."
Mia stepped closer, a smirk still on her face. "Darling, it seems you're in love with that man."
My eyes widened, but I managed to respond. "Even if I am, you mean nothing to me; I would say that."
Her eyes gleamed dangerously. "You know it's because of you that Jungkook and I broke up."
I felt shocked by her unexpected revelation.
Mia leaned back on the couch like a queen. "You have no idea what you've gotten yourself into."
She paused for effect.
"He's a man who uses women, someone who doesn't respect them. He's a playboy... a 'fuckboy,' Y/n."
My jaw clenched in anger.
"How dare you say that?" I demanded, fury rising within me.
"Because that's the truth," she said, unfazed.
"He used me, and when he got tired of me, he left," she continued.
"Because he never loved you," I replied sharply.
Mia smirked. "Love destroys everything, girl. He loved Soojin, and when she betrayed him, he became a fuckboy and a playboy. That's who he is."
"He knows he wouldn't be able to seduce you easily, so he made sure you would fall for him first before leaving you like he did with me."
"I don't know everything, but I do know one thing: this virgin has changed him."
She laughed.
"You don't understand because you're in love, darling," she said.
"I don't know how you give your heart to random men. I'm proud to be a virgin," I stated.
"I never called you insecure," she cooed.
"Mia, you should leave unless you want your parents dressed in black," I warned.
She realized the seriousness of my threat.
Mia stepped back, disbelief crossing her face, mixed with anger. "You're delusional if you think he'll choose you."
I met her gaze, my resolve unshaken. "We'll see about that. I'm not afraid of you, Mia. I'm here for Jungkook, and I won't let you stop me."
As she turned to walk away, her heels clicking against the floor, relief washed over me.
I was here for Jungkook, and I wouldn't let anyone-especially Mia-stand in my way.
With newfound determination, I took a deep breath and prepared myself for what lay ahead.
I would find Jungkook and tell him everything, no matter what it took.
This time, I wouldn't let anything hold me back.
As I pivoted, my eyes locked onto Jungkook's.
"Did you overhear any of that?" I inquired.
"Apologizes, but yes," he responded.
"Um... how much?" I asked, forcing an awkward smile.
" Each and Every single word," he replied candidly.
"Well... what is your response?" I pressed, waiting for clarity.
He remained silent, the tension hanging thick in the air.
"Please, just say it so I can be sure of my victory over her. Just tell me, Jungkook, I love you."
As he didn't said anything, I left the hope.
"It appears that loving me is considered a crime by everyone... which is why no one loves me," i murmured.
"If loving you is a crime then, I'm total fucking criminal," he asserted, his voice steady.
