--Y/n's perspective--
Today, I spent the afternoon with Leo, browsing stores and grabbing a bite to eat.
He was laid-back as usual, though there was a hint of something else in his demeanor.
As we wandered through the bustling streets, he suddenly asked, rubbing the back of his neck, “Y/N, should we go for a long drive this evening? I heard there's a new park that just opened nearby.”
“Why not?” I replied, flashing him a bright smile, though inside, something felt a little off.
After spending more time with Leo recently, I’d begun to realize that, despite his easygoing charm, I didn’t feel any romantic connection to him.
Not in the way one might expect.
“For now, let’s focus on shopping and eating,”I suggested, eager to avoid delving into the depths of my feelings.
He seemed content with that, nodding in agreement.
As we strolled through the stores, he casually asked, “Have you ever been in a relationship?”I shook my head, causing his jaw to drop in surprise. “Really?” he asked incredulously.
“Yeah, never had time for that stuff,” I answered lightly.
In truth, I’d just never felt drawn to anyone in that way.
Leo hummed, processing my words before I turned the question back to him. “Have you?”
He nodded, but I didn’t press for details.
It wasn’t something I particularly cared to discuss.
Instead, a different curiosity took hold of me.
“So, what’s the deal with you and Jungkook? You two seem to be at each other's throats all the time.”
Leo shrugged. “Nothing serious. We’re just academic rivals from high school.”
“Ohh,” I murmured, the answer now making sense.
They had a competitive history, but I’d always sensed there was more to it than mere rivalry.
Before I could probe further, my phone rang, snapping me back to the present.

I answered quickly. "Hello, Dad."
"Good evening, Y/N. Where are you, princess?"
"I’m out right now. Where are you?"
"I’m at Jungkook’s place," my dad explained, surprising me. "I thought you might be here, but I couldn’t find you."
"Really!?" I exclaimed, suddenly alarmed. "Okay, Dad, I’m coming now. I’ll meet you there."
The moment I hung up, I turned to Leo. “Leo, my dad’s at Jungkook’s house. We need to go.”
He blinked, clearly confused by the urgency, but before he could respond, I hurried to the driver’s side of his car.
“Move over,” I ordered, sliding into the seat and gesturing for him to sit in the passenger seat.
