--Jung Kook's Perspective--

The weight of the moment lingered with me as I walked away from the mall, each step heavy with the vision of Y/n and Leo intertwined, laughter echoing in my ears.

It felt as though I had stumbled into a nightmare, one where I had to watch from the sidelines while the person I cared about slipped away into a world I couldn't reach.

My heart raced with a sense of urgency.

I needed to gather my thoughts and form a plan, and the best person to help me navigate this mess was Taehyung.

I headed straight for his house, knowing he would be home and that his infectious energy could provide the distraction I desperately needed.

Plus, he always had a knack for strategy.

As I approached Taehyung's house, I noticed the familiar sight of his vibrant garden, filled with colorful flowers swaying gently in the afternoon breeze.

I knocked on the door, and it swung open almost immediately.

"Jungkook!" Taehyung exclaimed, pulling me into a brief but enthusiastic hug.

"What's going on? You look like you've seen a ghost."

"More like I just saw a nightmare," I replied, stepping inside and closing the door behind me.

The warmth of his home wrapped around me, momentarily easing the tension in my chest.

Tae led me to the living room, where Pearl was already sprawled on the couch, engrossed in her phone. She looked up as we entered, her eyes widening.

"You're back! What happened?"

I took a deep breath and quickly filled them in on my encounter with Y/n and Leo at the mall, watching their expressions shift from confusion to concern

. Tae leaned forward, his brow furrowed, and Pearl's eyes sparkled with interest.

"I can't just let Y/n stay with Leo," I confessed, my voice barely above a whisper.

"I need to show her what he really is. But I can't do this alone."

Pearl leaned in, her brows knitting together as she considered my words. "Do you have a plan?"

"I was thinking we could create an opportunity for her to see Leo's true colors," I said, my frustration bubbling to the surface.

"Maybe we can orchestrate a situation where she witnesses something that reveals his true self-something she can't ignore."

Tae's eyes lit up, a mischievous grin spreading across his face. "What if we throw a small get-together here? We could invite both of them and see if Leo lets something slip. Or you could confront him in front of everyone."

I felt a flicker of hope at the thought, but I quickly shook my head. "That could backfire. What if Y/n doesn't react the way I want her to? I don't want to push her away."

Pearl frowned slightly, crossing her arms as she considered my words. "We don't want to risk that. What if we make it more casual? Instead of a confrontation, we could let things unfold naturally. We can create an environment where everyone's relaxed, and maybe Leo will expose himself without us forcing the issue."

As her words sank in, I began to envision it-a low-key gathering at Taehyung's house where laughter and lightheartedness would prevail, allowing the truth to surface on its own.

"That could work," I said, my excitement growing. "We could keep it light-like a game night or something."

"Exactly!" Tae exclaimed, his energy infectious. "We can set up some games that might reveal their personalities. Truth or dare, charades-anything fun but with a hint of pressure. We can create moments where Leo's true self might slip out."

Pearl nodded, her expression softening. "Let's keep it small-just the three of us, plus Y/n and Leo. It'll feel less intimidating for her, and we'll have more control over the situation."

I felt a flicker of determination. "Okay, let's do it. We'll plan the details and get Y/n and Leo on board without raising any suspicions."

As we began brainstorming ideas, the energy in the room shifted.

My initial tension began to ease, replaced by the excitement of having a plan.

Each suggestion from Tae and Pearl filled me with hope that we could create an environment where the truth would come to light.

Taehyung's living room was filled with warmth and familiarity, the walls adorned with memories of our friendship-pictures from our adventures and silly moments together.

This was a safe space, and I hoped it would be the perfect setting to reveal the truth to Y/n.

The next few days would be crucial. I had to stay close to Y/n, engage with her, and gently remind her of who she truly was while keeping a watchful eye on Leo.

Every moment I spent thinking about her made it clearer-I wouldn't lose her again.

With the plan set in motion, I left Taehyung's house that day feeling more determined than ever.

It was time to show Y/n that there was still a world beyond Leo's charm, a world where she could truly be herself-one where I could reclaim my place in her life.

And this time, I'd prove to her that I was worth trusting.

But, why am I proving this to her?
Do I love her?

Nahh...love is a big word

Like maybe?..
