6: Privilege

Madison called Starlight just a quick phone call. Starlight answered, "Madison, where are you?"

"i have to go do this 'mission' with homelander in an hour," Madison replied in a quiet tone so no one heard.

"right...can we meet later at that same park we were at yesterday? i have a lot to tell you and i consider you a friend so could you not tell anyone about this." Starlight enunciated and Madison looked worried but trusted Starlight and didn't want to break her trust.

"okay, i won't. see you there." Madison finished the call with her last sentence and Starlight hung up.

Starlight didn't know whether or not to trust her but she felt like it was right to do especially with their conversation yesterday.

Madison finished using the restroom and flushed the toilet.

Madison got out and saw Queen Maeve cleaning her hands.

Madison felt very surprised and was kind of worried.

"don't worry, i didn't hear anything. i know we haven't had the chance to talk though..." Queen Maeve told Madison as she was washing her hands.

Madison smiled at Maeve and knew she was right.

"hey, yes of course. i've been busy adjusting to the whole thing. it's a lot something very opposite than what i was expecting. I'm Madison." Madison talked her feelings out but not to much as she sensed that she couldn't fully trust Maeve.

"Nice to officially meet you. yes it is. it's never what you expect. But hey, you just have to roll with the punches," Maeve stated and Madison nodded taking what Maeve said into her head.

"i know your new, but don't be a stranger. i would love to get to know you more," Maeve told her with a smile that was so warm and welcoming.

Madison smiled and felt her honesty.

Maeve then left the restroom and madison was relieved that at least she's the only one giving her privacy.

Madison got out of the restroom and quickly walked to the elevator to go downstairs.

Before the elevators door closed she saw A-train holding a blue substance in his hand but being very secretive about it, looking around.

Madison noticed and noted but didn't really think anything of it.

Madison didn't want Homelander to keep waiting for her so she quickly got to the entrance and saw that he wasn't even there.

Wow. Madison thought.

Maybe her comment made him mad? upset?

but why?

After a minute or two she saw Homelander fly in the air and then land right in front of her.

Madison smiled and then blurted out, "you came back. where were you?"

Homelander smiled at her and replied calmly, "well, i had to take care of business. Now let's go before those traffickers leave."

By business that meant killing the guy earlier who had touched Madison's ass and the guys friend who intervened, Homelander used his lasers and killed them both like that.

Madison looked at him and nodded.

Homelander then jumped and into the air he flew.

Madison quickly followed behind because he knew the place and she didn't.

Madison and Homelander got to the roof of the place and saw some guys smuggling 'drugs' but it wasn't drugs it was a blue substance almost the same thing that A-train was holding in his hand earlier.
