Madison still laid on the floor as did Black Noir.

Starlight responded back to A-trains remarks, "you're not a good person, A-train. But you could be by letting us go..."

A-train laughed at her face and argued back, "see that's what you want me to do. I should really be telling Homelander about this, he would have a good laugh."

"But you won't. You've had your fair share of evil things too, A-train. You know it" Starlight debated with him and he looked at her like she had a point.

Madison began getting up because although she was hurt, she could handle it.

Madison saw A-train and he looked at her.

Starlight's eyes began to glow yellow and she was really pushing her powers really hoping A-train wouldn't fight her or Madison.

A-train's heart began to beat really hard and Madison saw that he was struggling.

Madison walked over to Starlight and A-train.

Madison just felt like something was wrong, he was in trouble.

Madison told Starlight as she watched A-train put his hand on his heart and his face turn cold, "call an ambulance, he's hurting!"

Starlight pulled out her phone and quickly dialed the emergency ambulance.

A-train fell to the ground, his heart almost pumping out of his chest.

A-train was feeling desperate trying to catch some air while suffering on the floor.

"do you know CPR?" Starlight asked and Madison knew and needed to do it so A-train had to hold on a little longer.

Madison started giving him CPR and told Starlight, "i'll wait for the ambulance to arrive, you can go so we don't get caught together."

Starlight nodded and quickly ran away.

Madison stayed until the ambulance came and Black Noir woke up, completely ignoring everything that has happened because the ambulance was there.

Madison flew home and got her aid kit from the cabinet out.

She had two big wounds on her leg and the other on her arm.

She stitched herself up, she only knew how to do this because when she used to train in the facility that they used to keep her in, she would get hurt really bad and needed to fix herself up.

Always.
...

The next day.

Madison had rested somewhat better and the stitches she had previously put on her wounds last night was working.

Madison was in her hotel room, she fixed herself by covering the bruises with makeup.

Rarely noticeable.

Madison got ready because today was 4th Of July and the fair event that was going to be huge especially with 12,000 fans and supporters.

Madison flew to the event and saw Homelander in front of the event standing by the entrance/inside since there was a fence and the event was yet to begin

Madison flew directly to him and he saw her take the attention of the people.

Which kind of threw him off because attention was his thing.

Homelander smiled at her slightly fake smile.

"great, right on time. that's good for a change," Homelander joked with her but not really as he whispered in her ear as she dropped next to him.
