32: A never ever happy ending?

Madison was with Starlight, Hughie and M.M waiting for Butcher and Becca to go to the cabin that Butcher got the location sent from Grace Mallory because Stan Edgar didn't give it to him and rather was going to send in troops/agents to the cabin.

But Butcher made a plan to get Ryan with Becca before the agents got there to take him away.

Frenchie and Kimiko then started the plan with the stereos in the forest playing some frequency loudly so that his hearing could get affected and they both quickly left.

"you know, your mom she really fabricated this whole 'story' of me. i'm a nice guy just trying to save people in the best way that i can. you should get to know me before your mother puts things in your head..." Homelander told him with a serious face and Ryan looked at him with a worried face not believing slightly any word that he is saying because he is just a kid and already misses his mom.

"so, when can i call my mom or see her again?" Ryan asked politely with an upset face and Homelander looked furious at him.

"no you don't understand she doesn't care about you, Ryan. she made you live an in isolated town, she hates you. you'll probably never hear from her again.." Homelander stated and then was interrupted by the loud frequency and it hurt his ears.

It also hurt Ryan's ears since they both have same powers.

Homelander looked at Ryan and told him loudly, "stay here, i'm going to check it out!"

Homelander then walked outside and flew to where the noise was coming from.

Madison hated the anticipation and the thought of something bad happening to any of the boys.

Butcher and Becca seconds after entered the cabin and saw Ryan, Ryan smiled at his mom and went to hug her.

Becca smiled and embraced the hug with her son.

Butcher then quickly stated after seeing Ryan and Becca hugging, "okay we've got to get outta here before he comes back and realizes."

They all left in a hurry, Becca was holding Ryan's hand and keeping him close.

They arrived back to the Boys, M.M had the car ready to take Becca and Ryan far from here.

Butcher looked at M.M and nodded as he stood beside the car ready giving the signal.

"okay, get in. let's go." M.M told Becca and Ryan, Becca looked upset at Butcher and didn't want to leave him, "wait what? no—no. Butcher come with us,"

Butcher gave her a look of 'he just couldn't even if he wanted to'...Madison noticed Becca struggling to let go of Butcher.

"i'm sorry i can't, M.M will get you somewhere safe. i'll be there soon...i promise." Butcher told Becca as he rushed them into the car, Becca got in with Ryan beside her.

Madison interjected and looked at Butcher then Becca, "i'm sorry, but—i just have this feeling that i should come with you, Becca. i'm coming with you all."

Becca looked at Madison and Butcher, Butcher was surprised but knew she would keep them both safe as well.

Madison told them and got in the car, sitting beside Becca,"i am a supe, it's good to have one protecting you both. and trust me when i say this Becca, you'll see Butcher soon."

Becca looked upset at Butcher but tried to trust Madison.

Madison nodded at Butcher then closed the door, M.M started driving the car.
