Madison hasn't had the guts to tell the team that she's still in the Seven or back from her 'break'

Because right now was a crucial time to stand by on who you really stood by.

Starlight has been blocked by Hughie and they haven't talked much or even at all since the 4th of July event.

Butcher has denied them too because she was a threat to the team by playing both teams like being in the Seven and the Boys.

So automatically she was forced to be in the Seven and Starlight still liked Hughie and wanted it to work but was waiting for him to give her a call and actually put in the work to not care what Butcher says.

...
Madison and Starlight were in the Vought lobby just talking.

Eating a salad.

"so he really hasn't call you back?" Madison asked wanting to see how her relationship with Hughie was doing.

Starlight looked up at Madison while eating.

"no, i've just stopped checking after the second day. it's alright, just Butcher is stupid. How did he react when you told him you were back in the Seven?" Starlight asked interested and Madison gave her a stressed face, not convincing.

Madison knew Starlight wouldn't say anything and she responded back, confiding in her, "well, i haven't told them. it's harder than one might think, they wouldn't take me back. i want to help them so it's best to keep it under wraps..."

Starlight nodded understanding her and it was very clear that Madison was starting to genuinely become apart of them.

...
Madison starts getting a phone call from Butcher nicknamed 'Dad' very ironic considering she doesn't have one because they aren't close at all.

Madison walked out of Vought in her costume because everyday she has to wear it but with the Boys she just puts some normal jeans and a shirt on.

Very casual.

Madison answered the call and asked him with a very concerned look on her face; "yes?" Madison had a focused face, wondering what this could be now.

Butcher smiled behind the phone because although he shouldn't like talking to Madison, he had a good sense of humor when around her.

"you busy or what, eh? where are ya?" Butcher asked her invading her privacy and clearly Madison didn't like that so she snapped at him, "well if i wasn't busy i would be there, eh,"

She mocked him in his British accent quite good, He chuckled and responded light hearted, "good accent i see you've been around me long enough."

She smiled and had a serious but happy face on.

"—oh yeah, more than enough, now spill it." Madison replied very quickly wanting to know what he called her for, being impatient.

Butcher rolled his eyes and continued...

"i want ya to meet a former supervisor of mine, she's a real salty woman. But once you've known her for a while, she's a real cookie. Her names Grace Mallory. She's important and could help us in the long run, she's helped me by telling me that me wife is alive. Come down to the Boys hideout, i'll let ya know more.." Butcher explained and Madison thought about it but was sort of busy because she has to do more campaign photo shoots for her brands, chips, makeup, ect.

She was in the Seven and once you're in it, you could hardly leave at all.

It was strict.

Madison hesitated while on the call responding very uncertain, but very certain on not going and blowing her cover, "i'm—well— you know, busy. can't right now..."
