Madison Maven 'Privilege' - The Boys

5: Secrets are no fun

It was another meeting day at the Vought Building in room 62 to tell the superhero's who their partner are for the day and for what duty.

"Lastly...The Deep and Privilege, you both are going to go to this warehouse where these men are smuggling drugs in." Ashley announced and Madison didn't like that very much but The Deep on the other hand was loving the idea.

"Wait, woah- Ashley, do you think i could switch partners?" Madison asked her loudly that the whole group heard especially The Deep.

"why's that?" Ashley asked curiously and Madison smiled kindly but inside she was raging.

The Deep scoffed and smirked at Madison, "well maybe it's because i'm too much to handle, and i get it but what can i say?"

Madison looked at The Deep while her eyes glowed blue and The Deep got serious and choked on his water that he was drinking.

"Mmm, The Deep you're with Starlight now." Homelander voiced seriously and resolved Ashley's issue as she looked stressed.

The Deep was confused and didn't like that but Homelander was the captain.

"yes sir" The Deep replied and groaned.

Starlight looked at Madison and walked next to her.

Starlight passed her a napkin through hand to hand that had something written on it but Madison couldn't look at it yet because all the hero's were there.

Madison acted like she didn't get anything from Starlight.

Homelander suspected them and watched them real close.

"well if that's all i'm outta here." A-train stated and walked away with a serious face.

Ashley also walked out as did The Deep after he gave Madison a wink.

Madison got grossed out but Starlight was still next to her waiting to get a chance to talk to her but Homelander was still waiting.

Starlight saw that Homelander wasn't leaving and he smiled at them with a fake smile.

"just keep it, i'll see you later." Starlight firmly told Madison and Madison put that napkin in her pocket.

Starlight then left without even looking at Homelander.

Homelander smiled and then asked Madison, "what was that about, huh? awkward.."

Madison smiled at him and then changed the subject, "i'm really sorry about the plane that went down yesterday..it's sad, you guys tried."

Homelander didn't even seem to care about the flight that went down as in all truth it was his fault but that was a secret between him and Maeve.

Homelander got closer to her and looked at her with really scary eyes, "we tried but what can you do? we are superhero's but not miracle workers..."

Madison nodded and tried to understand what he said but really kind of ignoring him.

"what did Starlight give you?" Homelander with a deep voice asked as he got closer to her.

Madison started getting nervous but tried not to she knew what powers Homelander had and one of them being that he could sense lies.

Homelander sensed and told her, "give me the napkin."

Madison smiled and asked him, "what napkin?"

"the one Starlight gave you, i have eyes." Homelander told her and Madison acted stupid.

"want me to get it from you?" Homelander asked and Madison didn't really like that so she hoped that whatever Starlight wrote wasn't an issue she had to deal with.

"of course not. here you go." Madison responded and gave him the napkin.

Homelander smiled at her and grabbed the napkin and saw that it said, "Welcome on the team, Ms Privilege! Can't Wait To Work With You, soon!"

Homelander then got confused because why would she write that on the napkin.

Madison got relieved and saw the look on Homelander.

Homelander gave her back the napkin and it was also folded so Madison quickly put it in her pocket because there must be more not just that.

"i'll see you out front in an hour." Homelander demanded as he couldn't stand her for some reason.

"Homelander?" Madison finally let out a word after a long silence from her and standing up for herself as she shouldn't be afraid because she's been raised in a facility all her life, what does she have to be afraid of?

Homelander was walking until she let out a word and stopped him.

"yes?" Homelander responded and waiting for her to answer.

"i think you underestimate me and what i can do.." Madison said with a smile knowing that she will get through Homelander and his barrier.

"we will see about that later then." Homelander stated and smiled at her before he then left the room.

Filling the room Madison was still in with silence, the meeting room for the hero's.

Madison quickly goes to the woman's bathroom and is in a stall.

Madison takes out the napkin and unfolds the napkin and turns it to the back side.

Bingo.

It says, "call me, this is my number. i need to call you later and tell you what's been going on."

Starlight put her number and everything.

Madison smiled and put Starlight's number in her phone.
