23: Fake it til' you make it

Madison was chilling in Vought's lobby, as she was looking up at the tv, it was playing one of Maeve's lesbian ad's, involving some candy company.

Madison still felt for her because coming out isn't easy and Homelander did that for her.

Homelander told Madison first hand about Maeve being a lesbian but then after that, the next day he did an interview with Maeve and he exposed her once more, this time in public.

After that, Maeve has been doing all these lesbian commercials and has hated Homelander for that.

But couldn't show it to him or to anyone really, she was threading carefully

Madison was eating her salad and hating Vought more each day that came by, she was feeling miserable.

She hasn't talked much to Homelander and maybe it's best to not get too close to him after all, even though she did say he could count on her whenever.

Maybe it was the wrong decision to say.

Madison then saw Ashley, she rolled her eyes wondering what Ashley could want now and Ashley spotted Madison and sat right in front of her, Ashley began yapping away, "i have gotten some more feedback for your new costume. We have made some improvements with the best of the best designers."

Ashley showed Madison on her ipad of the new costume, which was more out there, taking away the tight leggings under her leotard away, leaving her legs very exposed, she still has the cape which was still navy.

Just some changes.

Madison didn't like it and gave Ashley a serious face, looking confused as ever at Ashley and responded back, "well, i don't remember asking and who are these designers? why do they want me to show more? i've shown enough and i don't feel any more comfortable."

Madison didn't like this conversation at all and Ashley looked at her with a serious and straight face hating Madison's response, "well your going to like it because we are doing it and we are going to film the new movie, "Dawn of the Seven" and production starts later this week."

Madison was annoyed and just agreed because she didn't have much of a voice in the Seven, "fine, you're going to do it anyways."

"good girl, you're costume will be done in three days shortly" Ashley tells her then gets up and walks away with her ipad.

Madison was still eating her salad when Starlight found her and walked up to her, Starlight smiled and asked her sincerely, "how are you doing? haven't seen you much in two days..."

Madison smiled at Starlight and Starlight sat down in front of her.

Madison responded very firmly and quietly, "yeah, it's been rough. i shouldn't be with them and you should come back as well..we need you. i need you."

Maybe the most nicest thing anyone has told Starlight.

She felt honored and Madison did need her and wanted some sisterhood.

From her fellow Supe Sister, Although she felt close to Kimiko, Starlight was closer to Madison.

Starlight shrugged as she was going through some mom issues and self inflicted issues, "well i'm not sure. i don't necessarily agree with what they do, the boys especially Butcher. i'm just different and Hughie hasn't told me 100% what they always do, and maybe it's for the best. i'm totally fine with you being in it, but just let me know, the scoop."

Madison nodded and they both had each other's back, Madison replied with a smile on her face, "always."

Starlight trusted her and Madison was growing on her.
