"okay, well—believe it or not but i went exactly what your going through right now. I was new not so long ago. Not to discredit your feelings because i understand you," Starlight comforted Madison and madison believed her so she just broke down.

Madison started bawling and tears started rolling down her face.

Starlight held it better than Madison did but Madison couldn't be seen in the vought lobby crying even if it was just the two of them.

Vought wasn't to be trusted.

especially the members on the Seven.

Starlight grabbed her hand and took her to her own dressing room.

"change into sweats and a hoodie. then we can go on a walk and you can let your feelings out but just not here." Starlight was doing all this because Madison was not gonna go through the same thing as her.

Starlight wanted to keep her safe as she was younger and the youngest on the team by ten years to all of them.

Starlight also changed her clothes into casual.

They both, together walked out of the vought building and walked down a park.

"how did you manage to handle all this?" Madison asked while slightly having tears go down her face.

She was strong but this was on another level.

Starlight let out a light chuckle and looked at Madison, "well it's hard to handle this but between you and me it's complicated. it's hard to leave once your in and i've had many reasons to leave but really one big reason to stay."

"and what's that?" Madison asked curiously and Starlight looked at Madison, "my mom."

"it's her dream and i won't lie it was my dream it's just i've outgrown this phase. But, i've had breaks here and there from the group and if you ever need breaks just let me know. i could let them know or anything..." Starlight told Madison and she nodded.

Madison couldn't stop thinking about Homelander and why he was so entitled.

"is homelander always like this?" Madison asked and they saw a nearby bench and they both sat talking.

"like what?" Starlight asked knowing but at the same time wanting clarification.

"like a jerk, he's confusing. i like to think he has his reasons because for some reason i feel like he is suffering deep inside. i just can't read it but feel it." Madison looked at Starlight and tried to paint the picture for her.

Starlight understood and nodded.

"i'm not the right person to come to about homelander, i know nothing about him. he is so secretive and he is a jerk it's just best not to say much because he is pretty powerful and i wouldn't want you to get hurt." Starlight warned Madison and Madison noted.

They both got each other and sounded like they went through the same thing.

Starlight started getting a phone call, titled 'Hughie"

Starlight answered the phone, "yes?"

"can i see you? i need to tell you something important.." Hughie declared while talking on the phone in a basement under a flower shop very hidden and secretive.

"okay, do you want to meet me here at the park? i'm with privilege right now though.." Starlight clarified and Madison shook her head to tell Starlight that it's fine and she will leave.

"-oh okay, ill see you there, will she stay or leave in a bit? this is really important and i don't know if i can trust her." Hughie with a worried and concerned face was really interested about Starlight's relationship to her.

"that's fine. i'll see you here." Starlight commented and then ended the call, Madison smiled at Starlight and hugged her.

A goodbye hug.

"madison before you leave- i just wanted to say...don't trust Vought and keep things to yourself it's not safe being in the Seven and especially around those that are in it. it's corrupt...i'll explain later." Starlight left Madison with a message and she was worried coming into The Seven she thought it would be everything she's ever wanted.

But it's not.

Madison went along her way and left Starlight alone but wondered who was Hughie.

Madison used her flying powers and flew to her house.

She saw her mom watching the news about "Breaking News: Flight 37 that was hijacked has apparently crashed into the ocean and no survivors were found." Madison then saw Maeve standing in the background while Homelander talks about the incident and how it was a tragedy that should have never happened if the army just let the hero's take over.

Tracy looked at Madison and got up and went to hug her sweet daughter.

"how has your day been! was it good? saved anyone?" Tracy asked with a smile and happiness kind of overbearing Madison.

Madison looked at Tracy upset but thought about what Starlight has said..., "it was good mom. it was a long day so i'm going to rest."

"oh..okay, goodnight!" Tracy yelled as Madison went upstairs to her room.

Madison got to her room and it was decorated with the Seven because that's been her dream since she's been very little.

But it's not her dream anymore.

Madison looked at the poster she had of The Deep with his autograph and he wrote a note on the poster as well, "Saving the Ocean, is one less commotion! Be Brave and Do What Is Right!"

Madison got angry and ripped the poster in half, and used her telekinesis to throw it in the trash.

She started taking off the action figures she had of A-train and Homelander and put them in the trash, using her telekinesis.

She kept the ones of Starlight, she had one poster of her and just a figure.
