30: Close a Chapter to Open a new one

Starlight and Madison quickly hurried but without realizing Black Noir saw Starlight and threw her to the wall as they were about to leave, everything was getting hectic as standby witnesses were yelling and running around.

Black Noir saw Madison and Madison quickly used her telekinesis to throw Black Noir with her hand.

Madison's eyes started glowing blue, she saw a fire match on a cabinet and quickly lit one up and put it next to the sprinkler.

The water alarm was sprinkling everyone, as the fire alarm warned everyone to leave.

Black Noir got up as that throw was nothing to him he caught her off guard and started fighting, Black Noir punched Madison and Madison took a beating.

Madison flew back making Black Noir hit the wall but that didn't faze him, he was strong once again.

Black Noir got a strong hold of Madison and started choking Madison, Starlight got up again and started grabbing on Black Noir and choking him from behind.

Black Noir kicked Starlight and Starlight fell back, Madison started taking off Black Noir's mask exposing his half burned face, in a quickie, Maeve came with an almond joy in her hand and fed it to him.

Black Noir fell back and let go of Madison.

Madison took some air and stood there confused as so did Starlight, Maeve smiled at them saving them, "he's allergic to almonds..."

Madison smiled thanking her and so did Starlight, Maeve looked at them and demanded, "now go, you two. Before Homelander comes or anyone.."

Madison and Starlight ran out as Black Noir was struggling to breathe on the ground with his inhaler miles away.

Maeve looked at him and walked away feeling no sympathy. Black Noir had it coming, he will be fine anyways..

Madison and Starlight arrived to the Boys hideout, feeling safe but not for too long because it can be a matter of time before they find out where they are at.

The Boys saw them coming downstairs and smiled at them, Hughie smiled especially at Starlight.

Hughie told her as he walked up to her, "i've missed you, glad you're here now."

Starlight, Annie, hugged him and they stood together.

Madison smiled at Frenchie and he walked up to her smiling, "where have you been? we been missing you, i've been, mon amour."

Frenchie hugged her tight and Madison hugged him back, "i've missed you....all"

Got a bit awkward for Madison, her feelings for Frenchie weren't fully there but some.

M.M smiled lightly at Madison and Madison noticed him, M.M commented at Madison, "welcome back, buttercup."

Madison smiled at him and appreciated him.

Butcher looked up at her with his miserable eyes and face because of lack of sleep, and been drinking.

Madison could tell not very hard too.

"what's wrong with you?" Madison asked him and got closer and smelt the reeking alcohol off of him, "really? you've got to be kidding...what have you been doing this entire time?"

Madison was disappointed and angered by the lack of help.

Butcher smiled at her while being more relaxed and laid back, "you've got a beautiful smile, but ya know what's even better? i've got some more info that i forgot to tell me boys....while i did come back from me wife's house or whatever...i did convince, the scientist, the one and only who created Homelander, Dr. Jonah Vogelbaum into testifying against Vought tonight, it's on at 8 so ten more minutes...i think—that's what i've been up to sweetheart, i've been busy as well."
