Away From My Perfect Life (Naruto Fanfiction)

Part 38:

       Fuyumi was walking around after Kakashi and the others left for a mission, running into Team 10.

      "Hi, you three! Hi Asuma-San!" Fuyumi smiled.

      "Hi, Fuyumi." Shikamaru smiled, earning a curious glance from Ino and Asuma.  

     "Where you headed?" He asked.

     "No where, I was gonna head back to my store. You guys headed for a mission?" She asked, and they nodded.

     "Here, I had some extra pastries. You can take them along if you'd like." Fuyumi offered, holding a basket of it, which Choji took almost immediately.

    "Well, I better not distract you further, bye~! And cute earrings, Shikamaru. You two as well!" Fuyumi smiled, before leaving.

    "Hey, Shikamaru~! You like Fu-"

    "Quiet."

    "Looks like we have another Kurenai-Sensei and Asuma-Sensei on our hands." Choji laughed, making Shikamaru and Asuma blush.

     Fuyumi arrived at her house, and saw Zabuza inside, "Hi Zabuza-San!" 

    "Hi, Fuyumi. I was about to go on a mission again, I wanted to know if you wanted to tag along." He smiled.

    "Sure! I don't mind!" She nodded. 

   "What were you going to do if I didn't bring you along?" Zabuza asked.

   "Go to bed and sleep. Since I have outlets all over, there's not so many customers anymore." She explained.

    "You and your sleeping. Anyways, I need to go transport some things." Zabuza explained.

    "Ah, then maybe I shouldn't go.."

    "How come?"

    "I'm quite a target for most people, if you get hurt again..."

    "I won't, come on, let's go." Zabuza smiled, putting his arm over her shoulder.

    'His hand! Oh my god! I hope he spoons me again~!'

    As they left the village, they ran into Lia, who was shocked to see Zabuza, "It's nice to see you again, Fuyumi! I always see you with a different guy." She whispered, laughing at her.

    "You know it's not like that!" Fuyumi scolded.

    "Sure, sure. You're wearing the bow, that's nice." She smiled.

    "Of course! It's a precious gift!" Fuyumi nodded, hugging Lia before she left.

    "What did she mean by you always with a different guy?" Zabuza asked.

    "Huh? Oh, don't take that seriously, please! I went to her wedding with Kakashi, and me and Gaara were quite close so he talked about me when she was in Sunagakure-" 

     "Wait, Kakashi? You dropped the formalities already?"

     "He said he'd call me Fuyumi-Sama if I didn't." Fuyumi laughed, oblivious to Zabuza's annoyed tone.

     "Then why do you still call me Zabuza-San, I knew you longer, didn't I?" He muttered.

     "Ah, I can call you Zabuza if you really want me to!" She smiled, happing she was closer with Zabuza as well.

     His mood improved and he nodded, buying her taiyaki, which improved her mood.

    "I bought-brought more stuff just in case we'd have to sleep in a cave again!" Fuyumi exclaimed.

    "Nah, it's fine. I found a small inn we could go to, let's go." 

    Fuyumi and Zabuza got a room, with them throwing their stuff in immediately and going to do their mission first. But once they actually took a look at the room, there was only one bed.

    "Shoot, what do we do?" Fuyumi realised, but secretly enjoying it very much.

    "Ah..It's fine, we've slept together before." Zabuza whistled, trying not to look suspicious.

     'She doesn't have to know I specifically asked for one bed.'

    Fuyumi heard God gasp again and tried to ask him again, but he refused again. 

    Fuyumi sighed, "I'll go get washed up first." She told Zabuza as she went inside the bathroom.

    She finished quickly, drying her hair with her chakra and changing into pajamas she designed before flopping onto the bed while Zabuza went to the bathroom.

    'I wonder if things will be different now that we're on a bed, will we-No! None of that! Bad Fuyumi!'

     Fuyumi slapped her cheeks, and just played with the fabric of her pajamas until Zabuza came out topless with a towel around his waist.

     "Zabuza, no extra clothes? I can summon some, I have male clothes."

     "No thanks, I normally sleep like this." He declined, lying on the bed.

     'OH MY GOD!'

     'Yes?'

     'N-No, not you God.'

     'Oh, oh well.'

     Fuyumi laid down awkwardly, and turned the other way and tried to fall asleep, she snuck a glance at Zabuza, who was fast asleep.

     'Man, he's not spooning me-'

     Fuyumi was internally crying until she felt arms pull her back, being spooned by Zabuza, which made her grin.

     'Hehe! Thank you, god!'

     'For what?'

     'Shoot, I'm saying it like a figure of speech, I'm not actually thanking you, kind of.'

     'You are so confusing.'

    'You never did this before, run out of things to do?'

    'Kind of.'

    "What are you doing? You know very well what she meant. And not to mention, you've been breaking the rules again. You're supposed to help her." 

    "I do, just not for some."

    "What? You mean not telling her that the two people she really likes like her back?"

    "I just don't see any reason to say anything."

    "Maybe to make her happy?" 

    "It's better if it comes out naturally."

    "If you won't tell, I will. You can't keep the information that she wants from her."

    "No, don't!"

    "Why? Why should I not tell her? If you won't act like a proper god, I'll find someone else."

    "Don't, don't find someone else. It's just...I don't want her knowing."

    "And why's that? Overprotective?"

    "Kind of."

    "Well, that's a horrible excuse. I'm not going to tolerate this any further-"

    "I love her! I..love her. Don't...Don't take her from me."
