Fuyumi woke up in a hospital bed, with a bandage around her hand. She sat up and saw Kakashi and Zabuza sitting down beside.
"Kakashi-San? Zabuza-San? Why are you two still here?" Fuyumi asked.
"Why wouldn't we? We were supposed to take care of you on the mission, we need to make sure you're okay." Zabuza explained.
"My bad. I'm all better, let's go!" Fuyumi exclaimed, jumping out of bed but almost falling over.
"Did something happen to me?" Fuyumi said, being lifted up by Zabuza.
"For the poison to slowly disappear, it's absorbing your chakra."
"But I thought it worsens if more chakra is taken in?"
"We were able to reverse the effect, we actually wanted to heal it completely but the poison was really strong. It should be better in a few weeks. You can manage, right?" Zabuza scoffed, annoyed that the doctors couldn't heal it completely.
Fuyumi nodded, "I'll manage." She smiled.
"Good girl." Zabuza said, patting her head.
'Oh.My.God.'
Fuyumi, with a face full of red, smiled at him.
"I can go home now, right?"
"Yeah, I'll bring you. Kakashi has another mission." Zabuza said as Kakashi left.
Zabuza brought Fuyumi outside the hospital, and bought Taiyaki for her before bringing her home.
"Thank you, Zabuza-San! Are you teaching anyone for the chunin exams?"
"Nope, I was supposed to."
"Who were you supposed to teach?"
"More of I wanted to teach you. But I forgot you weren't a ninja. Why aren't you a ninja?" Zabuza asked.
"I don't want to be a ninja."
"It's not like it'll be hard, you're extremely powerful."
"Yeah, but I don't want to risk anything. What if it's my fault that someone dies?" Fuyumi muttered, unknowingly opening up to him.
"You'd never know that, though."
"..."
"I guess, but the thought of it is too overwhelming. I'd prefer to just stay on the sidelines." Fuyumi sighed.
"I see. Get some rest, okay?" Zabuza nodded, rubbing her head, knowing she had a long day.
"Okay." Fuyumi smiled, going inside her house.
Fuyumi walked inside her house and set her stuff down, "Now, what do I do about the chunin exams? I guess I could get rid of Orochimaru. And Gaara probably won't attack because of me. But then, Tsunade-Sama...The thing is that I'll be the reason why Suna and Konoha will be allies, so the plot won't exactly change. But if I save Hokage-Sama, it'll change the plot completely, and I won't know what to do anymore..."
'I'll have to let him die...'
"At least I can see Gaara and Sasuke finish their match."
'Fuyumi.'
"Huh?"
'Fuyumi.'
"What?"
'Fuyumi.'
"Bro, I'm asking you what you want!"
'Oh.'
"Yeah, so?"
'Right, a little tip before you do anything. Everything must have a balance. Okay I'm done, enjoy your harem.'
"Balance? Can you explain?"
'No. Bye.'
"Dumb god."
'I heard that.'
"I wanted you to." Fuyumi snapped, going to wash her face and get ready for bed.
She then heard a knock on the door and walked downstairs, seeing Kakashi. Her eyes lit up, and she ran to the door.
"You came?! It completely slipped my mind, I'm so sorry-"
"It's fine, I came quite late. That's my bad." Kakashi smiled, rubbing his neck awkwardly.
"No, it's okay! Come in! You can choose whatever you want!" Fuyumi exclaimed turning on the lights and air conditioning.
Kakashi chuckled at how excited she was, and looked around, seeing a nice outfit he liked. He bought it from her, even though she was going to give it to him for free.
'Wait, Kakashi doesn't like me that way and pays me still. Maybe Shikamaru doesn't like me! Oh, I hope so!'
Kakashi felt guilty, knowing that he came to investigate her, wanting to find out why she was so powerful, yet he never knew her until recently.
'She seems so innocent, but I can't risk anything. She could be a spy for all I know. She genuinely seems to be just a fashion designer, but what if it's just a cover up? But...'
"I think that'll be all, I'll see you tomorrow. Bye, Fuyumi." Kakashi smiled, teleporting away.
Fuyumi sighed, flopping onto her bed after switching everything off downstairs and walking up to the second floor. She went to sleep, and had a nightmare of Haku or Zabuza dying.
She sat up in cold sweat, "Why did I...No..."
She checked the time, seeing that it was midnight. She couldn't sleep anymore and decided to go down to her store, and ended up getting more things, even getting another building for a cafe she wanted to open.
She spent the rest of the night designing and creating her cafe from before, and ended up baking pastries as well. She ate one for breakfast and decided to visit Suna, using a portal to check it out from above.
She saw Kiyo upstairs, sleeping peacefully. She smiled and went a bit closer and saw that the store was in perfect condition.
"I knew he was a good pick." Fuyumi giggled, teleporting back to Konoha.
It was the early morning once she came back, and decided to talk a walk, knowing it was soon going to be the chunin exams.
The next few weeks went by normally, with Fuyumi's friends visiting every once in a while.
'Sasuke's busy training with Kakashi so I don't have to worry. Since Gaara is no longer an enemy to us because of me, he's been visiting me quite a few times. Naruto is with Jiraiya, Shikamaru with Asuma. I guess I'll be fine for now, most of the people in my harem aren't here. At least Naruto doesn't like me that way.'
Soon, it was the chunin exams. Fuyumi was invited to watch the match multiple times by Shikamaru, Gaara and Sasuke, and was initially going to stay home but Naruto invited her as well so she decided to go.
Fuyumi got many compliments as she walked past the villagers for her outfit and when she reached the chunin exams audience area.
Fuyumi was enjoying the matches, and it finally reached Gaara and Sasuke's match. It was going and Fuyumi was excited to see the winner, but something happened, a group of people were in the arena now.
'I guess one way or another, Orochimaru had to find out how to kill Hokage-Sama.'
