Kang-In just chuckled, grinning like a madman before speaking.
"Aww, so cute you're defending him... is she your girlfriend?" he asked playfully, looking over at Y/N and chuckled.
"You're pretty Y/N, I've heard a lot about you from-" he started to flirt before getting punched again and groans.
"Shut up! You have no right to talk to her." Jake stated, trying to calm himself down and not cause a scene.
"Now tell me Kang-In. Where is Johnny? Y/N, can you go and bring Jay over?" he asked her while staring at him dead in the eyes, wanting to kill him right there and then.
Whilst continuing to stare at him, the room was suddenly silent, the only sound was their heavy breathing, the ventilator gently blowing some air into the office and the chatter of colleagues passing by, completely oblivious to what was happening in the room.
Mischievously, Kang-In leaned into Jake's ear before muttering:
"I'm not going to tell you where he is Jake... why should I tell you? Are you going to kill him?"
Upon hearing this, Jake's eyes widened, turning to Kang-In with an expression of disgust and anger.
"I wouldn't dream of it, Taek." he spat out, pressing him more towards the wall and continued.
"And I don't want to. I want to quit my past- so don't you even think about tempting me to do the wrong thing."
Kang-In just stared at Jake, trying to process what he's just said and bursted out laughing.
"Y-You... you want to stop your past? A-After all these years? After taking revenge for your father? And taking revenge for other people? Jaeyun, you've gone soft haven't you?"
As soon as Jake was about to reply, Jay entered the office along with Y/N and some security guards, one of them included Wonwoo who gasped upon seeing Kang-In there.
"It's you! I've seen you last night stealing documents from here through the cameras! I couldn't catch him sir. Forgive me."
"It's alright, Wonwoo, we've got him now," Jay said calmly and gently pushed him away from Jake before ordering them to take him away.
"Jake, do you know this guy?"
"Its Kang-In Taek, he used to be my friend in school. Not anymore." he mumbled to him, preparing to leave the room.
As he was getting dragged out, Kang-In took the chance to whisper to Y/N.
"He's dangerous. Be careful of him. You'll see soon... prosecutor."

6pm, 5 hours later
"Are you going to kill him? Taking revenge... your father..." the words echoing in the back of Jake's mind for the past 5 hours before sighing annoyed.
On the other hand, Y/N's expression was perplexed, trying to understand what Kang-In meant by saying how Jake was dangerous, which brought her to a stop, just in front of a local park with a small playground.
"Jake." Y/N began, turning to him with the same expression that has been on her face for the past 20 minutes.
"Hm?"
"Kang-In said something to me before he was taken away... I don't know what he's trying to say-" she started to ramble to him, not realising that she isn't making any sense before feeling a hand covering her mouth, stopping her from speaking.
