Jake's POV
As I pulled it out with a gasp and collapsed onto the floor, I started breathing heavily whilst watching Y/N halt in her steps after hearing me.
"Y-Y/N..." I choked out, feeling tears run down my face from the pain and slowly feeling my breathing gradually slowing down.
So this is how it ends...
My suffering will finally end,
I'll be out of here and not have to suffer whatever punishment they planned for me tomorrow
No more pain, no more torment.
I'll finally be at peace.
As I slowly turned around to lay on my back while breathing shakily, I could see Y/N running up to me in shock and quickly kneeled beside me, her tears streaming down her face as she tried to assess what to do in this situation.

Y/N's POV
As soon as I heard a stab and the sound of gasping behind me, I couldn't help but turn around to see Jake crumpled to the floor and I widened my eyes in shock before quickly running over to him and knelt beside him, unsure of what to do.
"O-Oh my God...w-what did you d-do?!" I exclaimed in shock whilst feeling my tears run down my face before quickly putting my hands on his chest to try and stop the wound from bleeding.
As I looked at him, he just smiled at me, although it looked more like a grimace from the pain.
"I...I didn't mean for it to end like this...but Y/N..." he started to say, his voice cracking slightly, "I can't live like this anymore...I suffered too much in this life to continue living anymore..."
Hearing his excuse, I shook my head vigorously before lifting him up slightly and putting his head on my lap and wiped the tears that were streaming down his face.
"N-No...don't s-say that...y-you're going to b-be okay, huh? J-Just...don't l-leave me..." I stammered out, running my hand through his hair as I continued to cry and cradle him in my arms as if he was a child.
As he lightly shook his head, he shakily lifted his hand up to touch my cheek and wipe some of the tears that were running down my face.
"You'll be fine without me...won't you?" he mumbled to me whilst continuing to give me a faint smile.
"S-Stop! Stop saying that!" I yelled to him as I felt my heart break into what felt like a million pieces and started to sob before holding his hand that's on my cheek and holding it tightly.
"Y-You've always been my f-first love Y/N, even if we never got together after breaking up for a year...I still love you so much..." he mumbled to me while breathing shakily before continuing,
