Y/N's POV

Ever since I left the psych ward last year, I've been trying to live a new life, my mental health has been slowly recovering and I'm trying to move on from everyone that I have encountered from the last few years.

Everything is working out slowly, but surely, it will all be worth it.

Like they say, good things come to those who wait.

And it did- I managed to get a job at a local pub in Anyang a few months ago.

Low pay, but hey, we all have to start from somewhere, even if it's small.

"Good afternoon, what would you like to order?" I asked as I was busy putting the cash into the cash machine from the previous customer.

"Could I have a pint of beer please?" the voice asked, before sitting down on a stool in front of me and started to make himself comfortable.

Upon hearing the request, I immediately got to work, not wanting to be scolded by my boss.

After a few minutes, I finished preparing the glass and turned around to give it to the customer before widening my eyes at who it was.

"E-Ethan-? What are you doing here?" I asked shocked, I wasn't expecting him to be here out of anyone.

"Y-Y/N?!" he replied back, also in shock before scratching the back of his head. "To be honest, I could ask you the same thing." he said before taking the drink from my hand and started to drink it.

"I managed to get a job here...how have you been? It's been a year." I asked curiously before starting to dry the cups that were washed earlier.

"I've been well...what about you?"

"Yeah, I've been fine...my mental health has been better...slightly. But it's still way better than last year."

"What about Jake?" Ethan asked, his eyebrow raised quizzically at me.

After hearing his name come out of his mouth, I almost dropped the glass in my hand.

Why is he mentioning him again?

He's always been like this.

Why does he want us together so badly when there are billions of other men in the world.

He's not the only man to exist.

"I moved on." I mumbled at him straightforwardly whilst putting the glass down, not wanting this conversation to continue.

But it did continue.

"You did? Did you even read the letters I gave you? You never gave a reply back." Ethan asked, curiosity evident in his voice.

"Yes, I did read them. But I didn't find the time to write one back."

I lied. I didn't read them.

I don't care what he has to say.

I'm sure it's just an apology letter saying that he won't do it again.

Bullshit.

"And? Do you understand?-" he started to ask me again before I interrupted.

"I don't care, Ethan, there's billions of other men on this planet, why do you want me to be with him so badly? He can just find another woman." I replied to him, my voice sounding cold - unintentionally of course.

I'm literally trying to move on from my past.

Forget about everything that happened and start from square one just as I planned when I was in the ward.

But Ethan isn't helping.

At all.

Before he could speak, I interrupted him again.

"I moved on Ethan...and I'm going to a club to enjoy myself after a very long time...I'll find another man. I don't need Jake."

Jake's POV

Why does time feel like an endless cycle in this psych ward?

It's only been three years, but it feels like forever.

I can't wait another two years, I've been doing better...

I just wonder how Y/N's doing

I miss her so much.

It's been three years since we broke up and I still can't get that day out of my head.

She looked at me as if I was a sort of monster.

My thoughts were interrupted by an officer opening my door and telling me that there was a visitor for me.

Ethan. It's you...I already know it is.

"Ethan...they told me that I might get released earlier than expected for my good behaviour." I said with a grin, feeling happy for once in a million years.

"Really? That's good news! Also, Y/N's been doing fine...she's working as a waitress in a pub-" he started to say before I widened my eyes and slammed the table.

"She's working where?!" I said in shock.

A pub?!

Is she...interacting with other guys?

"A pub...in Anyang...she's doing fine." Ethan said while staring at me in shock, confused at my sudden outburst.

"Is she talking to other guys?!"

"Not that I know of...?"

"Listen. Make sure she doesn't talk to anyone, not even one guy...I want you to keep an eye on her." I said, a hint of jealousy evident in my voice.

"Why- she can still try and date someone-"

"No, at least, not until I make a proper apology to her." I said, clearly pissed off.

Ethan just looked at me as if I was crazy.

"Fine...I'll keep an eye on her."

I don't care if I'm crazy...

I'm crazy in love with her.

That's what I'm crazy about.
