❝A message to my younger self
The future isn't what they tell you

Heaven is a moving target
Heaven is a place I'll never know
I don't want to sit in silence
So, plug me in
Hell is just an empty garden
A name for the place that we call home ❞ ──  COIN

Ryujin went to Canada to live with her aunt. She told her parents that she needed to move from Korea to help her aunt who lived alone in a foreign country. She also expressed disappointment about her grades, feeling mentally drained by the Korean education system ─  she made a lot of lies to convince her parents to let her go. Only Ryujin's aunt knew the real reason for her departure, but she helped her with the lie because she needed some company, so it was a win-win situation.

After the talent show, the band Sputnik went viral on social media, hurrying the contract negotiations between music agencies competing to sign them. Beomgyu and the band had to move to Seoul three months after that. They would prepare for their debut the following year.

The months went by fast, leading the childhood friends to drift apart slowly. Chaeryeong's ― close but undefined  ― relationship with Taehyun ended when he relocated to Seoul; Yeonjun attempted a long-distance relationship with Yeji, but they both understood that those efforts were in vain; and Beomgyu, day by day, begged the heavens to remove Ryujin from his mind.

The year passed and during this period, the band Sputnik debuted with great success, releasing their first EP called "Heaven's Hell" which reached the top of the charts, being one of the most talked trend topics of the moment.

Ryujin went to a college in Canada to study music production and engineering. While there, she felt guilty about leaving Korea without telling her friends anything. When her mother informed her that Isa had been accepted to medical school, Ryujin decided to apologize in a traditional way by writing letters by hand. She apologized to all her friends for the events of the previous year. This gesture brought the childhood group back together, except for Beomgyu, who was too busy with his rock star career to make time for his friends and never read Ryujin's letter.

During her college years, Ryujin met again with an old friend, Jisu. During this period they decided to share an apartment. Living with Jisu made Ryujin discover that the girl was a big fan of the rookie band Sputnik. She couldn't stop talking about them, especially the bassist, little did she know that Ryujin already had contact with them before their debut  ──  when they were nobodies.

"Look at them" Jisu showed an interview clip of the band to Ryujin, which made her roll her eyes. Ryujin wanted so badly to talk about the true personality of those guys to Jisu, but she stopped when she heard Beomgyu interviewing about his ideal type.

"I don't think I have an ideal type... I don't believe in those things, if it happens it's because it was meant to be. The only thing I know for sure is that I don't like confused people, who leave other people's lives without explaining, I hate that."

"That was very specific..." The interview spoke causing the other members to laugh at Beomgyu's response.

"Beomgyu is still very innocent, he doesn't know about these things..."  Yeonjun said laughing which made Ryujin roll her eyes.
