Alice stood in the middle of the forest, her eyes glazed over as she looked off in the distance. It was the dead of night, moonlight being their only way of seeing. The atmosphere was tense, Alice clearly expecting something. 

The entire Cullen family was present, minus Edward. He decided to take Bella to visit her mother in Florida, to keep her from Victoria's path. They're spread out, still as statutes, waiting for Alice, ready for spring.

"You sure this is where you saw her?" Jasper asked after a moment of silence. The only sound that could be heard was crickets, and the light rain in the area

"Shhh" Delphine hissed with a glare "Trust your wife, cowboy"

"She's almost here" Alice muttered, before turning to Emmett

"On your left" she announced, her head snapping in the direction she wanted him to go

Emmett explodes to his left at her command, Rosalie and Delphine right behind him. Jasper and Carlisle go wide, looking to cut Victoria off, Esme and Alice following up the rear.

Victoria manages to outrun them, until she reaches a ravine. She doesn't break her stide, instead jumping over the water. Carlisle and Jasper stop short, before the older of the two called to his family "Wait. She's in their territory"

"She'll get away" Rosalie protested, only for Jasper to shake his head

"No she won't" he replied softly, glancing back at Alice.

Three giant wolves leap from the brush, chasing after Victoria. The leader is solid black and massive, quickly gaining ground on her.

A parallel chase ensues, the wolves and the Cullens keeping to their sides of the ravine as Victoria leaps between the two. Delphine is the fastest of the group, and quickly began to catch up with her as she jumped back into the Cullen's land

"All ours now" Emmett muttered with a smirk as he began to run faster as well, clearly wanting to catch the rogue vampire

Delphine finally managed to grab a handful of Victoria's hair, sending them tumbling onto each other. The redhead used the momentum to swing her back, landing her in a tree. She glanced back at the Cullen wth a grin, before taking off back onto wolf land.

Delphine let out an annoyed growl and took off once again, this time so clearly seeing red

"Delphie, don't!" Esme shouted, but it was clearly to no avail

Delphine jumps after the redhead once again, and is seconds away from catching her- when a wolf smashed into her, tackling her into the ravine

Victoria looked back and smirked once again, before taking off running, using the chaos as her escape.

There was a silent standoff between Delphine and the wolf, as they both stood in the ravine. Delphine could have defused the situation by simply jumping back to her side of the ravine, but that wasn't her style.

She glared at the ash brown wolf, tense as the water moved around her. The loose clothes she had worn clung to her body, and her dark hair fell like a heavy curtain around her, dripping water. The ash-brown wolf in front of her growls, and Delphine simply gave him a challenging smile

"Bring it on, Fido" she dared him. The wolf seemed to lose his self restraint in that moment, charging at her and tackling her into the water

"Dammit Delphine!" Emmett shouted as the two wrestled in the water

Before the situation could get deadly, another larger wolf jumps in. He pushed the wolf off of Delphine and gave him a warning growl. The grey wolf glared back and huffed, shaking the water from his fur before climbing from the ravine.
