Third Person POV
The click of the locked door echoed in every corner of the room.
A heavy sigh welcomed the atmosphere.
"I thought I was suspended." Milley raised a brow to Professor Jessyi.
"You are," she responded sternly. "I believe it's time to recall the lessons' talking about that ignorance of the law excuses no one."
"Excuse me?!" Milley hissed. "Article III, Section 3. And don't tell me you're going to make a recitation right now?" She made sure to strike first.Mahinang natawa ang mga kaklase nito.
"Teka! Anong drama 'to?" pagtataka ni Rylay at umikot ang tingin sa kanila. "Lakas maka-Your honor, hindi ko po alam." Bumungisngis ito.
Isang halakhak galing kay Jester ang kumawala. "Ang unfair naman your honor, bakit kami-pili lang kami ang narito?" agad na sumeryoso ang mukha nito.
"Let's begin." Prof. Xero dismissed them.
Tumikhim muna si Detective Ezjeera. "The Neicaro Hotel is one of the most famous and expensive hotels, right?"Napatango naman ang iba na studyante sa kanya.
"It is not questionable that your group can afford to enter the place. But what exactly is your purpose for staying there?"
"Edi party," Kent answered. "And it's not a party for nothing. We celebrated because FYI, officer, it was on behalf of the school purposes. Before the semester would start, the East Pontus High-as always the most expensive school could only give a welcoming party and gratitude to the students who enrolled in the university, hell, it was fun, though.""We are even required to perform dance," Rylay added. "Right, Lilly?" "Because we're the former cheerleaders of the dance club, anyway."
"Right. In the middle of the dance, we are deprived of music and lights." One of the cheerleaders named Shaira filled in. "Guess what?"
"The whole function room went black."
"There's no power outage in the famous hotel, right?" He asked the students.
"There is." They answered in chorus. Except for three. Heinrich, Zypher, and Milley.
"Lilly, Rylay, and Shaira, who else are the team cheerleaders?" he asked while looking at the three of them.Tumaas ng kamay sina Glendel, Anne, Kyla at Arzel.
"Who else?"
A knock on the door stopped them. Professor Jessyi opened it. And from the outside, the other five cheerleaders from the HUMMS strand appeared at the front door.
"They are, your honor." Sagot ni Rylay at Natawa.
"Yoriez is not here?" Milley asked, confused.
"She's just not present in the class anymore," Prof. Jessyi answered. "She's pregnant. Forget the impregnated woman out here. She didn't attend the welcome party, anyway."
"Oh, Alxe got a coma; he's the one in charge of attendees," Arzel replied, saddened.
"Where did you go when the lights went off?""We panicked. Do you expect us to run lalo na at madilim sa purgatoryo?" Kyla asked back.
"Of course, we shouted first before panicking," Anne opined. "Like, for example, WHAT HAPPENED?!"
"WHAT THE FUCK!?"Napitlag sina Professor Xero at Jessyi sa biglaang pagsigaw ng mga ito.
Literal na sumigaw na nagmura ang mga ito. Hindi mapigilan ang malakas na tawa mula kay Rylay.
