CASSIE'S POV:
As usual, I woke up with Caleb breathing in my neck. I tried to move a bit but he pulled me closer.
"Hmmm...wait..." he's talking in his sleep. I wonder if he's dreaming about me. He rolled to the other side of bed, letting me go before I stood up and went to the shower.
The door was buzzing non-stop and I swear no one would do that other than he best friend.
I forgot we're going out and I haven't told her Caleb's back!
I opened the door and signaled her to be quiet.
"Why? You're already awake. Wait...did you forget our appointment today?"
"I totally forgot, sorry. I'll just change real quick. Stay right here."
I quietly entered the room and thankfully Caleb's still sleeping. I quickly chose a simple outfit and applied a very light makeup. Just when I was about to turn around, I bumped into something hard.
"Woah, are you okay?" he steady me with his hands on both my arms. I know I blushed. Good thing the room is not well light as the curtains are still drawn.
"Shhh..."
"W-why? Is somebody out there?"
I pulled him as he's about head to the door. We both lost our balance and we landed on the bed. Caleb's on top of me. My hands are on his bare chest while his arms are trapping me in bed. I can feel his heart beating thousand times per second. Do I have this effect on him? You were still on that position when your room's door sprung open.
"WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?!?"

CALEB'S POV:
I stood up and helped Cass. She quickly pulled her bestfriend away and left the room while I put on my shirt and freshen up.
They were like having an argument when I went out of the room. I was about to grab a cup of coffee when her bestfriend is about to lunge at me.
"And you mister, why are you only back now? What kind of husband are you?
"Stop it, Cindy."
"What? Are you defending him? Did he sweet talk you?"
"No!"
I raised my hand in defeat. I simply can't win against her best friend. I know how protective she is towards Cass.
"First of all, hello to you too. I went home not too long ago. Thursday night, I think, right, Cass?" I looked at her. She gestured me not to talk/keep my mouth shut.
"3 days ago? And when are you planning to tell me, Cassandra..." she suddenly stopped, like she remembered something.
"That was when you didn't go to the office because you said you woke up late, right?"
Instead of getting mad, I saw she grinned at Cass.
"Yeah...Oh my God, Cindy! It's not what you think!"
I don't understand what they're talking about so I just listened. Then their attention are back at me.
"So are planning on leaving again?" Cindy's tone became serious. I already told Cass yesterday and even our fathers that I don't plan on leaving again but I think she's still not convinced.
"I won't"
"Really? So are you planning on living together, then?"
Cass kept quiet.
