CASSIE'S POV:
There's no doubt why Caleb become successful in the world of culinary. His food tastes great!
After dinner, he asked me to walk around the island before we go to bed.
"How are you feeling?" he asked as we walk while his arms are on my shoulder. He pulled me closer as the cold wind blew.
"I feel great! Thanks again for this, Hon."
He smiled and kissed my temple as he gestured me to sit in one of the beach chairs.
"Are we even allowed to be here?" I roamed my eyes. The island seemed to be private but well-lit unlike those you can see from the movies that looks scary whenever you look around.
"I'm sure the owner won't mind us lurking around," he chuckled.
"How did you even find this place? Do you come here often?" I asked as he cuddled me in his arms.
"Hmm...I think it was a year ago when I discovered this place. This is the second time I came here."
I felt my heart ache a little thinking that he brought someone else here before me. He noticed my sudden change of expression so he looked me in the eye.
"I never brought anyone here, just you, if that's what you're thinking," his tone sounded teasing.
"I..I never said anything." I looked away. Good thing, he can't see me blushing under the moonlight. I felt embarrassed.
"It's written all over your face, Honey. I don't need to hear it and also, you can ask me anything. I will always tell you the truth," he slowly kissed my lips.
"O-okay. I've always wanted to have a place like this. Where you can escape the noise in the city and just relax without thinking about tomorrow," my eyes got fixed on the full moon.
"We can always go back here whenever you want to."
"It probably cost you a lot to come here. How much did you pay to rent this place?"
"Money is just money. It can be earned. I don't mind spending money on my wife." he winked at me.
We headed back to the cabin, hand in hand. We freshen up and I sat on the couch waiting for him to finish. He sat beside me as he dries his hair.
"Do you like how the place was designed?"
"Yeah, although there are some things I can add."
"Like?"
"Hmm, that table looks a little out of place." I stood and moved it a bit as he sat on the couch watching me move the furniture. I got carried away and move a few more stuff then sat beside him.
"Oh my God!"
"What?"
"I shouldn't have move things around! The owner may not like it."
"Oh I'm sure he would love to hear what you have to say. After all, his wife is a designer. He needs her expertise."
"Really? Have you met his wife? Do I know them?"
"I'm pretty sure you do. You probably know the wife for like, forever?"
His eyes are smiling as he talks. He seemed amused by my questions and trying hard not to laugh. I'm still trying to understand what he means when it suddenly hit me!
