Chapter 14

Enzo's POV

Ezra looked amused. It was terrifying. I had to find a way to get out of there.

"W-what do you want from me?" I tried to sound as brave as I could but I couldn't hide the tremor in my voice. He was much bigger than me and I was trapped like a helpless mouse.

"Nothing. Like I said, I just wanted to watch you sleep." He stood back up and leaned against a tree. He was still eyeing me with an emotionless grin on his face.

"Then will you l-let me go? I should be in class right now."

"Sure. Go right ahead."

I hesitated. This was too easy and there was no way he would let me go just like that. It's probably a trap. I cautiously stood and slowly walked around him, keeping a safe distance between us, and ran. I looked over my shoulder and surprisingly, he wasn't following me. I was very confused but I wasn't going to stick around to find out what Ezra was planning.

I ran as fast as I could back to the Sun Residence. When I entered through the front door, I saw how empty the lounge was. Most of the furniture had to be thrown away after the fight so there was just a big empty space with a shiny marble floor. It was eerily quiet since everyone was in the main building and I wanted to quickly get to class where I knew Nikolas and Luis were. Roman would also be there but I would try not to bump into him. Seeing him would hurt and I didn't want to be reminded of our breakup. I took a quick shower and changed into my uniform. When I left, I kept looking back to make sure Ezra wasn't following me. I was still unsure why he had let me go so easily, not that I was complaining.

I tried to enter the classroom as quietly as possible but that wasn't easy given that I was extremely late and everyone turned to face me. I met Nikolas's gaze and he mouthed, "Where have you been?" to which I just looked away and sat down. Luis wore a horrified expression on his face. I felt exhausted. I could hear all the Moon wolves whispering about Ezra's mark on me and I put my head on my desk.

"How did you manage to seduce our leader, you Sun bitch?" The Moon wolf behind me stretched his leg and shoved my chair.

"Ezra would never go for a twink like him."

"He probably gave him the world's best blowjob. Why don't you suck me off too, Enzo? I'll treat you real nice." He and his friends snickered and laughed and I felt tears sting my eyes. I covered my ears and shut my eyes trying to block them out.

I don't want to deal with this. Ezra is the worst.

Casper's POV

When I woke up, Enzo was gone. I thought I had overslept but it was only 7am so he wouldn't have left for class yet. I didn't think much of it though and assumed he was with his boyfriend or something.

I usually didn't have breakfast as I preferred to sleep in but my stomach would not shut up. I got ready and changed into my uniform so I could go straight to class from the dining hall. I was about to leave the residence when everything I'd learnt about the Hunt suddenly came rushing back to me. I mentally groaned and turned back. I needed to see Nikolas and ask for some advice. He had previously told me that his room was right below us so I made my way back up to the 4th floor and looked for dorm number 47.

I could hear talking behind the door and I raised my hand, but the door opened before I could knock.

"Oh, morning, Casper! What are you doing here?" Nikolas was with his roommate and they were both dressed.

"Hey, um, I wanted to speak with you about something."

"Yeah, sure! James, you go ahead, I'll see you in a bit." His roommate nodded and disappeared down the hallway. "Come in!"
