Chapter 5

Casper's POV

It's Friday morning. My uniform had been delivered and I got ready for class. I found out that Sun wolves wear white shirts, Moon wolves wear grey shirts and Blood wolves wear black shirts so that they could be differentiated. I didn't get a wink of sleep last night because my head was being too noisy and I skipped breakfast in the dining hall. Enzo and I got back to our room as soon as we left the main building yesterday. He wanted to show me the rest of the school but I just wanted to get in bed. He hadn't said a word to me since, but it's no surprise since I made it clear that I wanted him to shut up.

I sat on my bed with my leg shaking up and down. I was going to meet all the other wolves today and I couldn't feel less prepared.

"Do you want to walk together?" I nervously asked Enzo who was brushing his teeth.

He paused and looked at me. "Sure."

He was awfully quiet and I felt guilty for the way I treated him.

"I'll wait for you in the lounge." I made my way downstairs and I bumped into the other wolves living on my floor who all greeted me with subtle smiles. They were dressed in uniform so I assumed everyone was on their way to the main building too.

The elevator doors opened to the lounge and I found a comfy chair to sit in.

"Ah, the newbie. How cute."

I jumped up and turned to see where the voice came from.

"I'm Luis Ramirez. Nice to meet you, Casper." I shook his outstretched hand. Such big hands.

"Ramirez?" As in Leonardo Ramirez?

"Yeah, I'm Leo's non-identical twin. I'm technically the older brother, even if it's by 5 minutes, and I should technically be leading the Sun Pack here but I don't really care about that kind of stuff. I just need to make sure my lil bro doesn't die so that none of the responsibilities fall into my hands. There's only one thing I care about in this world." His gaze fell to my right. He didn't really resemble Leo but he definitely mirrored his attractiveness.

An omega walked up to Luis and planted a kiss on his cheek. He received a tight hug in return. He was significantly shorter than Luis and had wavy brown hair. Their affection towards one another was making me feel awkward and out of place.

"Hey! You're that new omega! I'm Nikolas Dimitriou and Luis is my mate." He reminded me of Enzo.

"You mean you've been claimed?" I recalled everything I learned from Enzo yesterday.

"I've been with this little furball for just over a year now. He's my adorable little omega." He ruffled Nikolas's hair. "We're heading over to the main building right now if you want to join us."

Just then, Enzo walked out of the elevator.

"Hey, En! We're heading over to class right now, come with!" Okay, Nikolas and Enzo had the exact same personality.

"Morning Niko! Sure. Are you okay with that Casper?" He still wasn't making eye contact with me.

"Uh, yeah, okay." I wouldn't admit it but I felt relieved that I wouldn't be alone outside.

I didn't contribute to the conversation the others were having whilst we walked. I was too nervous. There were many other wolves around us. I kept my head down but any time I did look up, I could see curious faces looking in my direction. The smell of alphas invaded my nose as soon as I stepped foot into the main building.

"Your classroom should be written down on your timetable. Us three are going this way so we'll see you later in the dining hall." Luis waved and they walked off.

I looked down at my timetable and saw that my first class was on the third floor. I dragged my feet up the stairs and looked around frantically for my classroom, doing my best to avoid the alphas who were play fighting in the hallway. I finally found the right door and I took a deep breath before walking in reassuring myself that I'll be fine, only to find a class full of people all staring up at me.

"So he's the newbie, huh."

"Ain't he an omega? He's got muscles."

"No way he's an omega."

"Sniff the air, you idiot. Of course he's an omega."

"Holy shit he smells good."

"He'd look good with my dick inside him."

"I want to fuck an omega who's built like him, not some skinny little twink."

"Bro, that's gay."

"He's got a nice ass."

"We should test him out later."

What am I hearing right now? I slowly made my way to the empty desk at the back of the class. I could feel tears pooling in my eyes and I choked back a sniffle. I couldn't show that I was weak on my first day here, especially not to Blood and Moon wolves. Where are the Sun wolves? Where are the other omegas?

The teacher walked in and everyone turned to face the front, apart from a few who were too busy snickering at me. She was tall and pretty. Definitely a female alpha. She was the first woman I'd seen here so far.

"Okay, everyone. We have a new student today. Could you please stand up?" She said, looking in my direction. I scrambled to my feet, nearly tripping, which earned me a few snorts from my peers.

"Everyone, this is Casper Reid. He arrived yesterday and is staying in the Sun Pack's residence hall." Snickers turned into glares and I could tell who was from the Moon Pack. "All of you WILL play nice. I don't want anyone laying a single claw on him. Thank you, Casper, you may sit. I'm Miss Raven. If you have any questions, please do ask. Now, let's get started."

I sat down but eyes were still glued to me.

"Look how scared he is. What a bitch."

"He looks fuckable."

I'm going to die here.
