Cody had completed his paperwork regarding the incident with Deanna and was headed to the Warden's office. He still believed that what it happened to inmate Carter was not his fault and was merely an accident. Deep down, he thought she was a good person who got caught up in an unfortunate incident. Ever since he was informed that the women would be in the facility and would be housed alongside men, he always believed that something bad would eventually happen, and sure enough it did. Inmate Carter got injured and now he was being blamed for it. Looking back, realized that he should not have let Joe get under his skin. Because he reacted emotionally, an innocent woman got hurt and now he could be possibly be suspended and subsequently terminated.
As he entered the administrative offices, he made his presence known.....
"Hi. I'm here to see Warden Heyman." Cody said.
"Ok, have a seat and I'll let him know you're here." Brandi, the secretary said with a smile as she pointing to the seat across from her.
"Ok." He replied.
As Cody waited, he felt nervous. What was Warden Heyman going to do to him, he had already asked him why he went against protocol and went on the housing unit by himself without being backed up byanother Officer. That in and of itself was grounds for discipline. So, at that moment, he decided he was going to accept whatever recommendation that warden Heyman had for him.

He was suddenly pulled out of his thoughts when he heard Brandy's voice again....
"Officer Rhodes? You can go on in, Warden Heyman will see you now." She said.
"Ok." He replied as he walked in.
When Rhodes entered, Warden Heyman had a calm, but stern look on his face.....
"Have a seat officer." He gestured as Rhodes sat in the chair in front of the Warden's desk.
Warden Heyman was quiet for a few moments, gathering his thoughts before he finally spoke.....
