Summary: You and Hunter get married!

Warnings: N/A

A/N: I'm so sorry that I haven't updated this story in around a month now! I hope you enjoy this chapter. Similarly to my Tech x Fem Reader story, this will most likely be the final chapter of this story (for now, at least).

"Hemlock is dead, the Empire isn't after us... we're finally free." Hunter said to you a few days ago.

"Free to do... what?" You had asked.

"Free to do anything. To be anything."

You smiled. "How about being husband and wife?"

Hunter smiled back, taking your hand in his. "Just a few more days until the wedding. It's finally happening after all these years..."

~

Today is the day of your wedding. You and the squad are on Kashyyyk right now. You and Hunter were able to set a date and time for your wedding to take place on Kashyyyk. The Wookies agreed since it was a way to thank you for saving one of their own, Gungi, the Padawan, from the Vanguard Axis. It's a beautiful day today. Rays of sunlight break through the leaves of the tall trees. You're in one of the treehouses right now, making sure your dress looks good. Omega has been giving your privacy for a while, but now, you hear a knock on the door.

"Can I come in?" She asks.

"Of course." You respond, opening the door.

Omega gasps when she sees you. "You look amazing!"

You smile, looking down at your dress. It has a floral design on it. You thought it would be fitting since you're getting married to Hunter in a forest.

(A/N: The dress looks similar to this. Sorry that the picture is blurry!)

"Everything has been prepared for the wedding later today

"Everything has been prepared for the wedding later today." Omega continues. "We were even able to get Rex and someone else to come here..."

"Someone else?" You ask, a hint of suspicion in your voice. "Why are you being... mysterious?"

Omega giggles. "You'll see."

You wonder what Hunter is doing right now. The rest of the squad is probably helping him get ready, too. You think back to when you first met Hunter. The squad found you and you offered them information on the Separatists. Everyone was suspicious of you; everyone except Hunter. He has always trusted you, just like how you have trusted him.

Omega offers to help you with styling your hair and anything else you might need, so you accept her offer and sit down in a chair by the mirror.

As Omega styles your hair, you ask, "Do you... do you think I'm doing the right thing?"

Omega smiles gently. "Of course you are. Hunter loves you, and you love him. You two have loved each other since the beginning."

"I just can't help but feel nervous, and I know the Jedi Order is gone, but..."

Omega stops what she's doing and places her hand on your shoulder. "I know what it's like to feel like other people are trying to get you to be something you're not. To try and choose the way your life is going to be. You get to decide what your life is going to be."

You smile. "You're right." You respond, thinking back to what Hunter said a few days ago.

"Only two hours until the wedding starts!" Omega reminds you, beaming with happiness.

After she finishes styling your hair, she leaves the room to give you some alone time before the wedding begins.

Your mind is racing, understandably so, so you decide to meditate for a while. You leave the treehouse and stand on the bridge that connects the treehouse to one of the other trees. You close your eyes, listening to the sounds of nature around you. As you focus on your thoughts and feelings, you notice how you feel excited, yet nervous. You can't wait to walk down the aisle and see Hunter at the end of it.

After you meditate for a while, you decide to make your way down to the area where the ceremony will take place. You walk across the bridge and eventually end up on the forest floor after gingerly watching that your dress doesn't get dirty. You walk over to the venue, knowing that everyone is waiting for you. It's nerve-racking.

You can now see the venue in the distance as you continue to walk through the forest. You're holding a beautiful bouquet of flowers that are native to Kashyyyk. You finally reach the venue, and everyone stands up as you stand at the beginning of the aisle.

(A/N: I'm putting this note here since I didn't want to spoil it in the A/N at the beginning of the chapter. I'm using they/them pronouns for Y/N's Jedi Master since I wanted the reader to be able to choose any character to be their Jedi Master.)

Everyone in the audience is smiling at you. You see Omega waiting on your side of the altar, and on Hunter's side of the altar, everyone else in the squad as well as Rex is waiting. You see someone get up from the audience. They walk over to you, smiling gently. You recognize their familiar face.

You gasp as they walk up to you. "Master?"

They nod, walking to the right side of you. They link their left arm with your right arm, and you hold your bouquet in your left hand.

"Will you let me walk you down the aisle?" They ask.

You smile, nodding. This must have been who Omega was talking about earlier.

You and your Master walk down the aisle together. You take your time, looking some familiar and some unfamiliar faces in the audience. When your reach the altar, your Master goes to sit down in the audience again.

The officiant goes through the introduction and other parts of the ceremony. Eventually, it's time for you and Hunter to say your vows to each other. You and Hunter are holding each other's hands, looking into one another's eyes.

"Y/N," Hunter begins, "I've been waiting for this day for a very long time. I may not have recognized it at first, but from the moment I met you, I think I knew deep down that you would eventually be your wife, and that I would be your husband. You could've gone on your own path; you could've hid from the Empire. You didn't have to help this squad, but you did. And I am forever grateful that you stayed. At the beginning of the fight against the Empire, in all honesty, I felt like it was all for nothing. I didn't have a reason to keep fighting. But as these wonderful things started to appear in my life, I realized what all of the hardship and suffering was for..." Hunter smiles, and you see a tear form in one of his eyes. "Love." He continues. "I love you, Y/N. I've fought many battles to be with you, and I'd do it all again."

Both of you are getting emotional, but it's a good type of emotional. Now, it's time for you to say your vows.

"When I was a Padawan, I was taught that love was a dangerous emotion. Now, I don't harbor any hard feelings towards anyone in the order for teaching me that. At the time, they were right. Growing attached to someone during the peak of the war would have affected me and made it so I didn't do my duty as a Jedi effectively. After Order 66, however, I met you. I tried not to fall in love with you at first because I knew that love can be powerful. Such power can be dangerous, and sometimes has the ability to lead someone to the Dark Side. It was different with you, though. You've taught me how to love, and how to not be afraid of love. I'm happy that I allowed myself to fall in love with the most amazing man in the galaxy."

The two of you exchange rings, and it's time for the moment you (and probably the whole audience) have been waiting for.

"You may now kiss the bride." The officiant says.

Hunter kisses you, and you can hear the audience clapping and celebrating. You and Hunter then walk hand in hand down the aisle to go to the wedding reception.

~

You and Hunter see the venue up ahead, so you decide to take your time and take a moment to relax. You two are standing in the middle of the lush, vast forest.

Hunter turns to you, beaming with happiness. "I knew this day would come."

You smile back at him. "Me, too."

Hunter looks up at the sky. "We're safe now." He looks back at you. "We're a family. We're husband and wife..."

"Don't forget about all of your siblings." You joke.

"Don't worry, I won't. I can't get rid of them if I wanted to." He laughs.

You smile. "I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you."

"And I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you. But don't think that means we won't go on any adventures together."

"Oh, I know. I can't wait for the adventures. All of them."

Hunter takes your hand in his. "Me, too, my love..."
