Family

It's been a few months since what happened on Kamino. You and the Batch have been traveling around, doing simple jobs for some credits. Today, you're in hyperspace, on your way to get another job. Hunter meets you on the ship. "Hey Y/N." He says, smiling. You can see Omega peeking from behind the door. You chuckle a little bit. "Hey Hunter. What's up?" He looks at you. "Just thought I'd say hi. We've got a while until we reach our destination."  It's late. Omega walks to her room and gets ready to sleep. Wrecker and Tech do the same in their rooms. Hunter gestures for you to come into his room. He takes off his armor, wearing a light set of clothes. He lays down on his bed, stretching his arms out. You lay down next to him, and he spoons you. Soon, you fall asleep in his arms.

You are jolted awake by Omega. She holds her Lula with tears in her eyes. "Hunter! Y/N!" She whimpers. Hunter gets up, kneels down, and puts a hand on her shoulder. "What is it, Omega?" She sniffles. "I-I had a nightmare, w-where you all left me on Kamino." You get up and kneel next to Hunter. "We would never do that Omega." Hunter says. "Yeah, you're part of this crew. This... family." You say, smiling. You wipe her tears off her face. She smiles. "R-really?" Hunter nods. "Really." He leads her back to her room. You watch as Hunter tucks her into bed. He smiles, then turns around and looks at you, embarrassed. "What?" He says, defensively. "You're like her parent." You smile. He blushes. "I- No! I mean no. She's- she's just part of the team." You walk closer to him. "Hunter..." he looks around the room. "Well, I guess we're more like a family." He says. You smile. "Yeah, family." You say, smiling. You two head back to your room, Hunter holding you close.

I am so sorry I haven't worked on these in forever!! I'm getting back into writing fanfics again :)
