A different kind of Knight

Chapter 7

She stands there for a while as she puts an open-palmed paw under her chin. She seems to be deep in thought after I asked her how she maybe of use to me in the first place. "I could be your ally." Alice says to me triumphantly as if we didn't already established earlier that we are supposed to be allies. So I retorted back at her. "Didn't we already established the fact that we are supposed to be allies?" She gave me an answer that will not provide any tactical benefits to me or herself. "Well, I could..." Her finger from her left paw traces the curvature of her body starting from the hips and it slowly yet swiftly climbs up before it stops right at her cleavage. A digit, most notably her index finger slips inbetween her fuzzy, golden-hued mammaries and now it slowly began to move in deeper and towards me. It continued to move towards me as I stare disapprovingly at it. Then, it began to pull down her clothing as her finger hooked on the edge of the opening of the opening of chest area on her robe and the film of fabric went downwards to reveal more of her furred chest. My gauntlet covered hands immediately grasped her wrist before she could proceed any further, then I sternly told her. "No. This provides no benefit to either me or you." Her finger retreats from her furred chest and back into her paw. Alice then began to shrug both of her shoulders in a way that tells me that this is the universal body language for 'I don't know.' which leaves me greatly dissapointed. "So, you literally have nothing you could give me in return?" She slumps her shoulder in defeat. "I guess im just gonna mind control you now just to make things easier." My eyes bulge at her outrageous statement since this isn't the proper way to thank someone who literally freed you from an evil psyker who used you as his battery source and prisoner. She shall pay for this in the future and it SHALL BE ABSOLUTE! I raise my arms up in defeat and spoke to her with a tone that would clearly get the message across that I am clearly infuriated at her. "Fine! I will take you to the damned cave! But remember, I will never let you insult me ever again!" I hastily turned the towards the other way as I angrily stomped towards the still form of Chaosbane. Then, I went through the whole process of climbing all the way up until I reached the still open access hatch that would lead me straight down to the Pilot's cabin which contains the Throne Mechanicum. Dropped myself in and locked the hatch, grabbed the cables and connected it to the ports on my skull. The welcoming and familiar sensation of my body becoming one with the Knight Paladin is felt yet again. After going through the startup process for a short moment, the Knight then shook itself awake from its slumber as the reactor went from a sleepy, idling hum into an active roar full of energy. The reactor then stabilizes shortly after and it goes back into a quiet but still energetic hum. I become one with Chaosbane once again as every other time as before. I see the small, golden-furred form of Alice looking at me with curiousity from down below. Woah! Can I ride on top?" No, I am willing to fulfill her request after she refused to treat me with respect! "Alice, I am sorry to say, but I must deny your request to ride me. It is very dangerous and I do not want my one and only friend to hurt herself." Her request was denied with a very happy tone and I can see that she is clearly envious of my position. "But we are friends! So let me ride! Please?" She yells towards me with a pleading face that almost makes me want to rescind my decision, almost. "No." I say to her with a monotone voice to let her know that my denial of her request is serious and that is my final decision. Her stance then shifted into an amusing display. Unfortunately, her pouting face and crossed arms still doesn't affect my iron-willed decision. Treat me with disrespect then you shan't receive respect from me. Now she may have pointed me where to, but I do not recognize the place nor the cave so I must ask her to lead the way. "Lead the way! Abhuman!" She grumbles something quietly to herself that the audio sensors cannot pick up. And so we've began to move towards our next destination: a cave in the middle of nowhere.

We've been marching for half an hour now in total silence with the exception of the Knight's normal operating noise. I should atleast try to make the most of the situation and start asking her some questions so that I may familiarize myself with this world. "So, Alice, do you know much about this world?" She looks somewhat embarassed after I queried her. "Yeaaaahhh, actually, im not of this world too. In short, I don't know much. BUT! I've been in this world for a respectable amount of time!" Ah, then she should atleast know something like how people lived, customs, traditions, and other things I could use to blend in society! "Well how about languages, traditions, customs, and oher things that may help me in integrating myself within society?" She only shrunk even further in enbarassment. "About that...
